Avon Jumps After Slimmed-Down Operations Top Profit Estimates http://finance.yahoo.com/news/avon-jumps-slimmed-down-operations-140053490.html
Just broke below support, next support is at $4.50. Not too low below support, so will be interesting to see if it bounces here, or if it continues down. Took another VERY small position in this one with a stop below $5.
Got in a couple trading days ago at $5.28, expecting a bounce off the double-tested support at $5.25ish, especially with the 200MA acting as support and in an uptrend. Got the reversal candle on Friday and it did indeed bounce today, but still a long way to go.
Hell of a ride after calling the bounce on this one. Another really good day on high volume! My target price on this one at time of entry was $6.75. Avon Products, Inc. A bit of a dip after the huge gain earlier in the week, but it's made a nice recovery back up near Tuesday's close. The slower the gain, the more reliable usually, so it's not necessarily a bad thing that it dipped. Got rid of a lot of the profit takers and the shorts are now getting pushed out as it grinds back up. Targeting $6.75, though I'll probably take half my position off the table at $6.
Well most of my gains were wiped out, but still up a couple percent. Returning back to the support level I bought it at on 12/1.
Nice bounce off support today for an over 5% gain. Chris Wermann Named Chief Communications Officer of Avon Products, Inc. Source: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...s-officer-of-avon-products-inc-300381378.html
This trade didn't go as I expected. It dropped through my support a couple times, but I held on as it didn't drop through the next level of support. I had this in 2 accounts, one position I made 1.89% since 12/1, the other I made 3.46% since 12/23. Just sold both at $5.38. Can't really complain about winners, but I should have sold these earlier. Oh well, profit is profit!
If we can drop down to these 2 support lines in the next few days, I'll probably hop right back into this for another short swing.
Traded this a few times, but missed my buy as I wasn't around on Friday. If it drops back down, I'll give it a shot at $4.50.
