On HSM I just used Stockcharts, but they don't show up on this forum. Any quick instructions on posting a static chart?

Copy and past the image into a host like imgur.com

Then copy image location and stick in here!

If you are on a Windows computer, use Snippy (Snipping Tool) set to Rectangular Snip and pin it to your task bar. In the options you can set it to automatically put the snip in your clipboard and then paste it wherever you want.

What works for the best for me is just to do a screen shot of the graphic, crop, re-size what ever and copy and paste right into the post, per example

Hmmmm had no idea you could just copy and paste an image into a post. Easy enough.

What are you old fossils going on about? ;)

Copy the image you want by pressuing ctlr c

Then simply go to imgur.com and ctrl v into the actual page!

    It will work! :D

What if someone who is not a total moron, like me for instance, drags photo in imgur and it still won't paste the image properly? I've had the same failure ten times. I am officially giving up trying because either something is broken with my ability to post it, or I truly am epically stupid.

just curious but which link are you pasting?

if it's the link from the address bar in your web browser, yeah for some reason it won't show the image in that case.

you actually need to right click on the image and copy the image address.

url should look something like this here:

    PHP:
    https://i.imgur.com/1j4sjkq.jpg
    not like this:

    PHP:
    https://imgur.com/a/moKFqhQ
    that should do the trick.

give it a try see if that works.

oh and hey what up @rando!

always a pleasure seeing you checking in here!

If you're posting a chart from tradingview,
    1. At tradingview, click the camera (upper right corner). That will bring up a box; copy the url from the box.
    2. Come to this forum, click the picture icon (looks like a mountain landscape), and insert the url.
    3. Done

Honestly, you don't even have to use a image hosting site. You can literally screenshot what you're looking at, and paste it into the posting text box.

Still works for me. Took a screenshot with windows snipping tool. In this box where I'm typing this message I typed CTRL+V to paste the screenshot.

Still no luck on my end.
First I was trying on my iPad, and today on my Mac.
It used to work a few months ago, but now when I try to paste a JPG or PNG, it does not show up.

    Thanks for the Help.
