Whoosh! Did you hear that? That’s the sound of Tesla’s share price rocketing back up. I guess the market likes the news it’s hearing. Bloomberg reports that the company has now received more than 325,000 reservations for its latest car — the Model 3.

http://kirillklip.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/hedgehog-trader-alpha-signals-indicate.html Lithium prices about to blast higher. Don't expect a quick buck on REMMY but in 12 to 18 months you wish you had bought in imho

    Re Lithium
Quantifiable drivers of competitiveness can be generalized into two categories: regional cost drivers and firm-specific characteristics. The major region-specific cost factors influenc- ing location decisions include labor, facilities, and materials costs. These costs tend to be lower in China and Korea when compared to the United States, contributing to their leading position with respect to lowest sustainable prices. Cost structures that are potentially achievable in Mexico could also be competitive globally, as Mexico offers low labor rates. If low labor costs are combined with a low cost
of capital (for example, from a foreign parent company), Mexico may be able to sustain the lowest prices among the scenarios analyzed."

TESLA WILL NEED A LOT OF GRAPHITE & LITHIUM (BUT CHINA WILL NEED MORE)
Battery grade graphite and lithium demand could surge if pre-orders of Tesla Motors’ Model 3 are any indicator of sales between 2017 and 2021.

Orders for Model 3 – which there is very little information on at the present, including the battery size – today reached 325,000 units.

Analysts expected Tesla to secure between 30,000 to 60,000 orders on day one of Model 3 availability, however expectations were comfortably beaten when Elon Musk revealed 115,000 orders at the end of the official launch.

On Tuesday, Ford confirmed that it will invest $1.6 billion to build a new assembly plant in Mexico. The factory is slated to build the Ford Focus and one other car. Ford has declined to say what that other car might be, but Automotive News is reporting that global consulting firm AutoForecast Solutionssays the other car will be called the Model E. AFS correspondent Sam Fiorani tweeted yesterday that the new car will be similar to the new Hyundai Ioniq. He says it will be sold in hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery electric versions.

In addition, apart from a small amount of low grade lithium from the Iberian peninsula, the EU has very little internal supply. Cinovec's location 2km from the German border could therefore be just as crucial as it's favourable economics. Over the past two months:

    * All major German car makers have announced plans to accelerate transition to production of electric vehicles.
    * Tesla in discussions with the German government regarding the development of a European 'giga-factory'.
    * LG Chem revealed that they will be building a 50k p.a battery production facility within a few hours drive of Cinovec.
    * Tesla, Panasonic, Sonnenbatterie, E.ON & Samsung have stepped up competition for the German home energy storage market.

The catalyst for market recognition of EMH's many geographic and economic advantages could take many forms, as JID's post (15.10.15) regarding the dynamics of a small-cap share price re-alignment wonderfully illustrates. Thursday's Hydroxide announcement and Charttrades coverage may well prove to be the best Christmas presents stockholders of EMH could have wished for...

Newly listed on the AIM market today, EMH is in the right space at the right time ... the right space being a Lithium mine at Cinovec, in the Czech republic, near the border of Germany.

With Tesla building their Lithium Giga Watt factories, and the European car manufacturers scrambling to produce Electric Vehicles to meet constantly tightening EU carbon emission requirements .... the demand for Lithium as a storage of electricity is set to soar ... with analysts at Goldman Sachs recently saying that it is "The next Gasoline"

REMMY is a large shareholder in EMH
