If I click on my own link above and click the "attachment" link, I get a prompt to login, which I am since I'm posting this.

WTF, it keeps asking me to login??? See below. I keep logging in, I'm logged in (top right I am logged in) and I have to keep logging in. I also check the "keep me logged in" and it is not working...???

While @Gil Oren works on that, I would suggest downloading a browser that isn't awful and trying it out. Firefox, Chrome, etc. You'll be glad you did.

Obviously the issue still needs to be resolved as there will always be people using IE.

It's asking you to login repeatedly? I haven't had this issue with Firefox at home, or Chrome at work.

It did not take me to a login screen but it does show that I am not logged in and I don't have any "Post Reply" option

This might be related to Not checking the box to "stay logged in" on the sign-in screen. I logged out of the website in Firefox, logged back in and checked the box to stay logged in and now the link launches a new tab with me still signed in. So, @surfsup you might try looking at that when you log in and see if that helps.

Also, I don't want to put all the ad issue on the user, but I think a big part of it is on the client end. You need to make sure Flash is updated. Also, if one is on an older processor in the 2 to 3 gig range of memory these ad issues will seem much worse especially the more windows one has open. It also helps to run a spyware scan on the PC to make sure it is clean of hijackers.
