@Onepoint272 if I could ask a favor - what is the PnF count for this recent 3 week consolidation on ATUS? I don't have the package on TradingView that allows intraday PnF and I'm assuming the 4 hour look gives better detail than the daily.
The Gold:Silver ratio is now at a 26-year high. An ounce of gold will now buy 90 ounces of silver. To put that in perspective, back in the day of my avatar (1925), an ounce of gold was $20 and an ounce of silver was $1. For those who are not familiar, when the ratio peaks both gold and silver have historically rallied, especially silver.
@Rock Sexton , here ya go...ATUS with 195-minute data (2 bars per session). The 14-period ATR was only telling me to reduce the box size from about 50 cents (for daily) to 40 cents (for 195-min). The base count target went up from $38 to $47.20.
Yeah I know, I have, and I had feeling it would break 30 but I didn't take action. Looks like its gunning for 34. The base count gave 39.50 and that last re-accumulation gives 45.
ATNX blasting off close to the POC already didn't get in unfortunately, what a nice bounce off the creek though.
Man $DISH finally popped to around $38.40. Just wish the damn thing would hold it's gains better today. I previously noted the $39.00 level as near term resistance, but didn't think we'd see this much. Somebody is sitting on the ask at $38.99 with a 100 sized blocked.
I gave in and sold mine last week.. watching my p/l numbers dropping daily, i felt compelled to take a profit on somthin
That right there does it EVERY time ..... watching the damn PnL #'s. It spooked me out of a couple of positions (not SBUX) early last week during the market pullback. You'd think we'd know better by now.
Welp, now I know where that random pop came from this afternoon when it jumped to almost $39. I suspected Verizon in my post, but looks like AT&T is making it be known ..... AT&T open to idea of merging DirecTV satellite business with Dish, report says https://finance.yahoo.com/m/51937077-ec02-3392-bd8b-d0f91e21ec84/at&t-open-to-idea-of-merging.html?.tsrc=rss
wow!... that's nuts! I was a installation tech for both DTV and Dish for about 6 years back in my 20s, never thought id see this day
Probably going to regret this, but I sold my latest round of NVTA @ 20.40 after sitting on some shares for a few weeks that I re-bought at $18.33. I love opportunities like these where they repair gap-downs - particularly that long upper wick at the beginning of May. When you see a candle with a wick like that, it's a direct sign that the market got away from the market makers and they will look to re-test it when the volume dries out. A lot of secondary tests play out there. Notice the backtest of May's most active price (red line), which is basically a "back up to the creek (BUC)" and then wham - upside.
Welp, she gapped up today over the important 50 level and currently 52.80 (+7.8%). I really don't wanna chase this up, but may have to. Shutterfly Stock Snaps Higher on Reported Apollo Bid https://www.thestreet.com/investing...id-14985802?puc=yahoo&cm_ven=YAHOO&yptr=yahoo
Some wacky shit going on there in SFLY during the last 5mins. A massive volume spike with a range of nearly $47 to $55.
