Looking for an entry into SPLK, with the market near ATH expecting a pullback in general this week Weekly chart: The higher lows are more evident here. Momentum indicators are nothing extraordinary but do show potential, which could mean I am getting in at the beginning of something big, if it turns out to be big.
$SPLK very nice pop, shorts ar 77+ are safe, adjustment and profit taking inevitable like always. im short at this point
Splunk reported first-quarter results that were in line with analysts' expectations as the firm continues to execute well on its transition to cloud-based services and subscription-oriented contracts.
I hope it will break above of it when it tries again next time, still holding the shares that I got in at $108.39
Have you considered selling half in case it fails to break through again? Can always repurchase that half later. I'm facing the same conundrum with AMD trying resistance again. Can't decide what to do.
Haven't really thought about it. It is my longer term play for the big data and so I probably will be pretty patient with my shares. If I feel like the overall market is about to go into a huge correction and drag almost every stock down then I probably would sell at least some of my shares
SPLK was a bright spot on a red day. +12.91%. Disclosure: I do not have any investment with this company....just seen it had a good day.
