another interesting stat i came across this afternoon: the 4th year of the presidential cycle is usually not as strong at the 3rd year, but definitely not too shabby either.

man that adp # this morning was pretty impressive! still printing over 200K+ Private payroll growth surges in December to end 2019 strong, ADP says
Yeah, last night we witnessed Iran taking a page out of the US playbook: bombing empty bases. Everyone gets to go to bed thinking "we showed them!". But we also had a Boeing crash that killed 176 people. Boeing is a big part of the Dow, and it just amazes me how it is not getting any serious dips. I heard the plane crashed on fire, and I heard (but looking for confirmation) that the plane was shot by an Iran missile as it was leaving Iran. Latest I hear is Iran will not let Boeing have the black box.
What a remarkable turnaround for the market. I saw a lot of stocks sold off in the AH yesterday and today we are making ATH
Yeah that was a crazy turnaround from last night. Last night made the lowest low in 2 weeks, and today just rips 3190 to 3260. Now we're at the weekly R1 pivot, so the up move for this week may be just about done. I'd be surprised if it showed more strength.

Market looking for a positive open. RDFN may have a setup for an entry. It's not just their revenues that are growing, their revenue growth is accelerating too. 5 quarters ago their growth rate was 30%, 3 quarters ago that growth rate was 40%, and last quarter their growth rate was 70% year-over-year and 20% quarter-over-quarter.
nazzy threatening to to go red here after the earlier morning rip...i'm not sure if this is news driven or what. not watching or listening to the news today. i suspect it is. market probably overdue for a bit of a pull here, and i'm not sure if the geopolitical driven pullback from earlier in the week was enough. i believe we did make a new ATH in /ES futures in the regular hours today and it looks like we do have some excess in the market profile. maybe we'll get some meaningful pullback.
