Hey, thanks for keeping an eye on it. I don't have those tools, just lifted it off ZH and don't see a good update since then. It does look like we got very close to the spike low on the first leg in 1929, and bounced fairly well. However, it seems unlikely we will follow the bear rally leg over such a long steady climb. I expect more panicky price action to continue, so the next leg will more likely be scattered and not correlate as well. But there is a lot to ogle on this chart. ZeroHedge will surely thump their chest by updating this if the analogue continues to work.
My parents spend the winter in Mexico. My sisters and I talked them into coming back two weeks early for fear they would be stuck in Mexico for 2-4 extra months. Told my wife to keep her spring break plans in NYC. Told her she's just as likely to contact the virus anywhere else. So she does go, stopping at Children's Hospital of Philly for an appointment the day after their cardiologist confirmed positive for COVID-19 (and the day before that news broke). Talk about dodging bullets.
Just did that thing where you walk into a room and forget why you are there. Came to post this insane two candle pattern on the Dow. Not sure I've ever seen such a funky sequence, not to mention each day ranged 5%+ of the market's total value.
FYI the casinos are pretty thin on guests right now, at least on the strip they are. Unsure about other areas. Anything with most properties in Malaysia area or vegas are going to get rekt on earnings next Q
