Anybody in with Air Canada? If so do you think shares will go $10 or under? It went to $9 but went back up will it drop again? When os a good time to buy?
Its typically good to buy on panic selling, but the risk is that AC does a share restructuring and all the current shareholders end up holding worthless shares.
I have no idea when to buy, or if to buy, but I will opine that AC is a far better company than it was 10 years ago and much better than even in the last 5. I believe it is a solid company that will last into the future. Unfortunately, Jock-e makes a good point with regard to restructuring. AC doesn't have a strong history of respecting it's shareholders.
Apparently, Canadian airlines don't have to refund tickets during the COVID-19 crisis. A voucher good for 2 years is sufficient. As I understand it, both of Canada's major airlines are low on cash, laying off huge quantities of staff, and struggling for survival.
