The only game in town for RV sales, maintenance, and aftermarket accessories. Independent dealers have to depend on them for distribution of the RV and parts. Largest seller of used and new RVs. Celebrity owner. DIvidends. Huge growth. The growth. Americans at currently buying more RVs than ever. Travel anywhere across the land. Sleep in your own bed. Use your own toilet. Cook Your own meals. Your own isolation bubble against coronavirus germs. A little armor plating and a machine gun hatch, and you have an Urban Assault Vehicle built for surviving Armageddon. If you lose your house, you can live in it. Camping World also bought the failed Gander Mountain stores. Which means that camping world is the largest seller of new and used guns in the country. Marcus Lemonis has that cable show. I have already doubled my money on this one.
As a regular guy on the street, I can't believe that many RV are selling. Where are they parking them?
Thanks for this one. I'm currently looking at Newell Brands and wanted a few other options. My idea for the potential popularity of RV and camper life is much darker. I think we may be headed for a depression. I'm seeing small businesses go under like mad and there's news that a huge number of Americans are and may not be able to pay rents or mortgages. I think people will have to move into campers and RVs in the next few years. I already own an RV REIT (ELS) but that is higher-end properties. When I get some time I want to search for low to middle class RV parks and campgrounds.
No, neither. I am thinking about what people who lose their jobs/ have to downside are potentially going to do. I am not HOPING for this, but I see it coming.
I got in when it was in the teens. I cashed it at $42 yesterday. Didn't sell it all. But I got my money back, and then some. I suspect that a lot of people looked at the charts, figured it wasn't going from 20 to 40 to 60. So they took their money at 40. Next quarter will report through end of summer. Sales are still good at the dealership level. This stock will go back to $40.
