DIX has been declining the whole month. Hit a low last tuesday of 39.8% and yesterday at 39.8%. DIX below 39% isn't a holy grail, but I've always used that % as time to move money off the table.

Yes, this might be different with unlimited QE - but when the big boys aren't buying, it makes me weary.

I saw an article somewhere saying by 2028 the national debt will be $79trillion. I wouldn’t doubt that if Trump gets another 4 years of Quantafinitive Easing. Easily could have $30tril when he’s done with the markets. The us debt will never go away with millennials coming to the table pushing boomers off. They are the last group of people who want to pay anything for anything and want everything free.

Gen X probably said the same about Gen Y. Expectations of entitlement.

Expecting everything for free probably started with the dotcom era, just before Millennials were conceived. Everything online was free. Free websites. Free information. Free entertainment. A bag of chips that gave you 10% more, for free. Free porn! Music and movies were pirated and shared online. And everywhere you went, there were free samples.

Millennials got fee free trading on RobinHood. Fractional shares of whatever, without minimums. Old people were still calling their discount brokerage to buy no load mutual funds, with a $10,000 minimum investment.

What really pisses me off? Millennials use hookup apps to get free sex. They are not buying dinner and drinks.

    when tinder IPO?

On a side note it appears gold and silver again bounced off resistance for a 3rd time. Resistance keeps getting lower. Sounds like down trend here.

yea, mom and pops small businesses had to shut down for the most part while the big boys got to stay open, and they have surperior online options compared to their inferior comp. and to top it off, no one could take vacations, so that extra money probably got spent at the stores

Weekly jobless claims over 1 million again, but the story remains the same, this market could continue to go higher as long as the FED remains supportive with liquidity :koolaid:
