Might be a little risky. Two catalyst's to move it either way are the Brexit vote and the stress tests both happening before the open tomorrow.
Pretty big day today, I actually don't know how BREXIT will fare but let's hope they leave the EU. The crazy thing is that Cameron could just chalk it up as a "recommendation" and choose not to honor the will of the people. At the very least, the actual process of a BREXIT will be dragged on for years before the Brits officially leave the EU.
IV was so high yesterday (like a 2% move has been priced into the SPY options I was looking at) that I didn't even feel like gambling a few hundred in both directions.
Twilio soars as stock opens at $23.99 for trading http://www.cnbc.com/2016/06/23/twilio-ipo.html Not in real time
Tricky, this market seems to be pricing in the UK staying in the EU, but that means we have the potential sell the news event.
They've been pricing in a "no" on brexit all week. Like I said before, they should exit, but the oligarchy will not let them do it....even if they have to commit voter fraud. The fix is in...
I agree if the rally today runs to the bell we could get a sell on the news scenario tomorrow...I give it a 50/50 to happen
For all those who are unclear, I know someone posted something similar earlier, but here you go with timeline for Brexit. All posted in EST: Polls open 2AM - 5PM today. 6PM learn how many ballots were casted 7:30PM first results 11:30PM status update - good clue on what the result will be by this time 2AM - 4AM - result final and formally declared These are target/estimated times.
in "normal" times (if i can even use that word lol!) i can agree w/ you ... but unfortunately we are living in extraordinary times right now with some of the most extreme levels of manipulation going on in the markets ... rigged markets as some might describe it ... this is a market built on nothing but fluff... when the market falls a few % the powers that be come backstopping this POS ... the manipulation that goes on never friggin' ceases to amaze me ... probably the most fabricated market rally i have EVER witness in my 10 years in this business man ... there simply ain't no bones about it, this is about as FAKE and PHONY of a market as you can get here lol ... but hey there is $$$ to be made too ... but alas i'm OUT and just watching the madness for now lol
LOL...they might sell off the markets a little just for kicks, but I seriously think it'll be a "no" on brexit I'm def not holding anything into this "vote" though
