I am surprised Ferrari was able to make it this high. FCA offloaded a ton of their debt onto RACE when they did the split a few years ago. Maybe it’s just due to their enormous profit margins on cars? I have never really paid much attention to their financials.
I bought SPY 342 puts expiring next Friday, before the drop in the last 2 hours, in case of a 5% pullback from 3600 SPX. Finviz showing nearly 80% of stocks above 200 sma. Eventually that will have to go down, but the question is which stocks will it be?
The interesting thing about NIO yesterday was the ER volume was lower than the previous 4 days(!). Seems like a lack of demand up here. It is up +6% today, maybe we get a short squeeze up then a crash. FOMO is right. I just listened to the Fast Money podcast from a couple days ago (so much stuff to watch/listen, I can't keep up hah). Didn't know GM had the #2 electric car in China, sales-wise ahead of NIO and Tesla.
happy with my NIO stock. i'm in for the long run. i see stock price > 100 end of 2021. and that's not the end.
Initially it was just a trade for me, but it doubled and I sold about half to get my investment back already, I guess I will hold for a long time now since the shares that I have pretty much are free shares now
Solar stocks as well, eg the TAN etf. FCEL has had an amazing week, a hydrogen fuel company. It's those kids and their clean energy. Kinda amazing that TSLA is down, but it has resistance at $500.
