Yeah Wales has a good chance to reach the quarterfinals now since they will just face a third place team next round. I hope England will play against Portugal
While I like to see some small countries participating, maybe the old format with 16 teams was more fun Germany needs to win to make sure that they finish first in the group, but I guess they wouldn't mind to play against Switzerlnd in the next round too much. I still expect a victory from the German by a goal or two. Poland needs a point only to avoid France like you said, so they might play it safe and not really looking to attack, but I still pick Poland to win Spain vs Croatia could be a 0-0 draw, both teams would be happy to get a point. Turkey really didn't look that great at all for the first 2 matches, so Czech Republic should get the victory that they need
Wow Spain really screwed up, they would have won the group with a draw and now they have to play against Italy Now Germany, Italy, France, and England all in the same side of the draw The Group F matches will be fun tomorrow, except Austria now everyone in that group wants to win that group With how things shaping up now, we might see Poland/Croatia/Wales in the Finals lol

I am so glad Iceland humiliated England in front of whole world and kicked them out of Euro like they wanted These guys beat us too in qualifications stages and since then my respect for them keeps getting bigger. Their historic journey added another chapter to it and hope they will also beat France
If I have to pick I would bet on Germany to win, but Italy seems to beat Germany pretty often in big tournaments. It will be a fun match to watch
yes difficult where to put the money on... on paper (players) Germany are much stronger then Italy .. they got many champions we got many good players but IMO we got a especial one CONTE as you say and thoroughly agree with you italy somehow always beat Germany in officia/important game so a 50/50 chance? Conte got few more problems 2 of the key players maybe can't make for the match against Germany (De Rossi - Candreva... Buffon seems to recovering from his virus ) Saturday will be a good match... I hope it is more technical than physical and a good show.. lets the best win.... Italy of course
IMO is a bit early to say because Conte after this tournament has finished has the Italian coach (he did not want to extend his contract ... he goes to coach Chelsea (UK) ... the new on hasn't won anything in his whole carrier (league,cup etc..) so we will see what he can do with the national team
