Tesla is laying the foundation for manufacturing efficiency that will give them cost advantages into the indefinite future.

Nobody else is muttering anything about cast sub-frames. In five years, they will start to talk about it and it will be the real thing to do.....

Keep in mind, other companies cannot do it as cheaply as Tesla. Tesla has designed an alloy and process that circumvents long and energy intensive post-casting heat treatment that has traditionally been required to maintain dimensional stability.

If ever a company were long term hold, it's Tesla. Even at this extreme valuation. They are thinking two decades ahead during a period when most companies do not think five years ahead.

This is probably the best explanation there is when people say TSLA is expensive.

I jumped in willy nilly at the top. I have sold weeklies from day one for the chump change dividend. Missed the latest low for the second add but patiently awaiting the next. This is what I call a forever hold. STARLINK llc. :D when it hits the street is when I will jump in deep on that one.

Tesla is a lot more than car company. The technology is second to none, as a example look at some of Elon's other companies to get a better insight. SPACEX is a prime example. Bitcoin was a brilliant move and only the ones that understand know why.:cool2: If you can stomach the daily fluctuations you will be fine.

a yr ago when i borrowed to buy tsla during the covid crash, most of the money i couldnt afford a full tesla share with, (between two deposits) i bought NIO. I think my avg in price was $3 per share. I had at peak, 350 shares. That was big time for me! They eventually grew to the value of my original loan which wasnt even intended to purchase NIO. It was more of a (rising tide raises all ships) kind of EV bet.

unfortunatelly, i had to sell nio to also cover bad options bets and margin. I may have to resubmit my tally on the investor/vs trader poll. More like investor/addict to trading. :/

i also had a long term nio call last month, but had to sell it to cover margin for being wrong short term when the entire market took a shit.

To elab on mr tomb16, this all comes down to the the best process is no process theory that elon/tsla has. It was a game changer when they invented the alloy to remove (i think it was some 16 welds down to one cast, on the rear subframe)? And this is an evolution of that, me thinks?

cybertruck body in itself is designed for less parts, single stamp, no paint (facility cost savings and cost per vehicle)

tsla is winning the worlds biggest chess game.

Statistics clearly show the investor outperforms the trader. It is a true fact. The minority of winning traders that have become successful never have a 100% ratio. If it was that easy we would all be doing it. I dont have to trade everyday, that relieves all the stress. I tend to favor nickel and dime plays. The big winners are few and far between.

Advice to anyone is the same, regardless of your methods investing or trading.

    I NEVER use margin.
I NEVER short a stock with shares.

On the investment side, index funds are always a longterm winner. Nickels make dollars.

TSLA bounces like a basketball, ignore it, dont get scared and sell.

As a rule of thumb I point people TOM Bs way.
I like to spar with him for kicks n giggles.:D

We both agree TSLA is a great longterm investment.

The losing trader has spoken. :lauging:

They are pouring floors at Giga Texas at an astonishing pace. Robots are standing by, in crates.

In other locations, they seem to install robots after two weeks of concrete curing, at most. That means robots will start moving into location at the start of April. Samples will start rolling off the line three to four months after that. That means CyberTrucks will be sampling in late July or August.

Curious if the CMD will be TSLA related or within a private side of Elon's other companies? They have the technology and a major advantage.

At any rate I will continue to hold and collect my weekly dividend.
