No where close my friend. :D Obviousy the sharks on the street have information that is not available to the retail people. In these modern times we have to learn how to swim with them by following the waves and reading their signals. :cool2: You never can tell, a model 2 could be well in the works and be released coinciding with the new tax credit. The EV motorcycles are yet another ace in the hole.

Based on everything I read, this is going to be a very strong quarter. Tesla is a fountain of cash, at the moment.

Wedbush 5-star analyst upgrades TSLA from "hold" to "buy", with a $1,000 6-month and a $1,300 LT price target, citing record Q1 deliveries.

A positive note from Goldman Sachs.

Tesla stock looks set to rise on Monday following the company’s Q1 delivery beat. In premarket hours, one of Wall St.’s biggest TSLA bulls chimed in.

Alex Potter of Piper Sandler holds the highest price target on TSLA at $1,200 per share, more than 60% above today’s levels.

Still, Potter was not quite ready to raise his full-year delivery forecast, which sits at 894,000 vehicles, 7.5% ahead of the analyst consensus prior to Tesla’s Q1 results.

Potter notes risks in the second half of the year due to ramping up new factories in Germany and Texas.

Leaked company call details suggest Tesla may be targeting 1,000,000 deliveries in 2021.

Over the weekend, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives increased his TSLA price target to $1,000 per share.

Update on the wife's plans, she has now set her heart on a Tesla after her lease is up on 9/27. Get in now while you still can!

3 is a brilliant car. It has to be. There are a lot of mid size cars that are fantastic.

    Quick thoughts.

Why don't I play the fluctuations? I could because I would be happy to own Tesla so I could buy a dip and if things go sour, I would be reasonably happy to own the stock for 10 years.

Lately, I've been complaining about surging cash and companies being bought out. That doesn't mean I'm just sitting here complaining. I feel I have found a faster horse so I am placing my bets accordingly. The other company is not in the EV space. We have been buying and there is more buying to come.

Once again... I feel an amazing, best case, future would have Tesla intrinsically valued at $2T (of today's money) in 2031. If I could buy Tesla at a valuation of $500B (that's just over $500 share price), I would be looking at 4x return over a decade, best case, in a growth industry with no thoughts of receiving a distribution.

If I buy in again, and it's definitely a possibility, I will do it on a relatively small scale. Certainly, it will be less than 10% of our portfolio.

If you're looking for a well run company, doing a great job, with a very bright future, Tesla is it. In fact, it's one of the top companies, in this regard.

If you are looking for an extreme growth opportunity, I believe Tesla has out scaled it's ability to provide extreme growth going forward. Tesla could easily be worth 50T in 50 years but that is not exponential growth and it is likely to have similar size peers.

I might have missed it, but have you mentioned this other company you have your sights on, TomB16? I am curious and I want to do some research on this company.
