Coinbase, Inc. is an American cryptocurrency exchange platform that operates remote-first without an official physical headquarters. The company was founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam, and as of March 2021, was the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States by trading volume.
Les do dis! Im staying away, but have my popcorn ready. i do however, have some doge, which i anticipate being listed on COIN soon. So all this new public listing with hype of doge making coinbase soon, me thinks is gud.
CRYPTO is the new daddy. Workable 24/7 even the bears "like me" have woke up and seen the light. My tulip bulb garden is doing very well. At some point, sooner rather than later the USD will convert to digital much like China and other Countries. EV. AI. FINTECH is the future, get in and enjoy the ride or get left in the dust, your choice. The BUFFETTS/MUNGERS are a dying breed.
One thing that crypto has done well is that it does not matter if you are in the US, or Canada, or Mexico, or Zimbabwe. You can buy and trade anything at any time. Opening up the financial world beyond borders is something we are just experiencing now. Exciting times ahead!
Imagine being the first guy in. Surely our friend W didn't chase the dragon at open. DPOs are tricky, 99.9 % fall on their face and trap the dumb money. Perfect example of why I AM NOT FULLY INVESTED or become a bagholder. Meanwhile in tulipbulb land, my crypto garden is doing just fine.
Still not bottoming out! Keeping in mind its IPO was $250, even if it goes to $250, that is still a solid first day.
Chart is useless today, ole buddy. The original investors want out while the getting is good. Not sure of the lockup period on this one. Typically 180 days unless they got a exemption. I stand by my statement. 99.9% fall on their face. Sorry about the bagholders, should have bought BTC.
You guys probably already know that Peter has this on his radar. I'm convinced and will be watching for an entry. Keeping an eye on today's open, it will be relevant for awhile.
I still say it cools off after the dust settles. I'm going to make a list of the closing price for a month or 2.
I think there is an entire new generation of traders who have never been involved in a big IPO. Its a learning process. Remember Facebook? That IPO dumped hard, but obviously did well after.
This is a DPO not a IPO. Entirely different critter. Direct listings allow the original investors to sell and GTFO, most do. Not sure on the lockup period on this one, havent looked. Had sense to stay out of it. This was way overhyped.
I cant imagine there is no lock up period on insiders. But judging from the opening dump, it cant all be shorters, must have been plenty of freely issued shares hitting the market.
