Can anyone here recommend some best investing apps for beginners? My younger is wants to start learning the ropes without the trouble of dealing with a financial adviser or the difficulty of finding trustworthy sources on the internet. She just wants something she could start with. Any recommendations?

I think Robinhood remains one of the best stock market apps, it has a user-friendly interface and nonexistent fee structure.

If you’re looking to pick your own stocks, you might want to try a platform like SoFi or Public. Both offer commission-free trades and are suitable for beginners looking to learn the ropes. Or, if you’re looking for hands-off portfolio management, try a robo-advisor like Acorns or Betterment. These services pick your investments for you and have competitive management fees. Plus, they both offer beginner-friendly mobile apps for easy portfolio access.

You are a beginner and are not familiar with building a valuation model for a stock, you can consider checking out ValueInvesting.io (full disclosre: I am the founder). We pre-build a valuation model for every listed stock using only public and trustworthy data sources to let you know whether a particular stock is undervalued/overvalued. We also have a stock screener to let you easily find undervalued stocks. Our FREE plan gives you full access to 5 stocks a month and access to our screener.

I was just trying it out and taking a look at it , but how do you search? I type in a stock symbol and hit enter but nothing happens and don't see a search button.

So this time it seems to have come up to click on. Nice layout though with a lot of info. Kind of overwhelming for a beginner a bit.

I would like to suggest you following application as your comfort and suitability. All apps are good in their respective zone.

Money control -help you to understand daily market movements.

Investing app - provide you very user friendly technical analysis platform totally free of cost.

Investopedia - is the Encyclopaedia of stock market, where you will get description of any stock market related terms.

Lastly, Equity master app is good for those people who gain some knowledge about stock market and provide you good platform for your Equity investment.

I for one have been very reluctant to learn about blockchain and the market luckily I have seen how it simply affected the stock market, take BTCS for example. They are a blockchain technology focused company, which has announced that The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC has approved the listing of the Company’ common stock on The Nasdaq Capital Market (“Nasdaq”). The Company’s common stock which began trading on Nasdaq under trading symbol “BTCS” at the open of the market on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

BTCS joins Nasdaq at a time when the digital asset market has reclaimed a total market capitalization of greater than $2 trillion. The Company generated $453 thousand in revenue for the first six months of 2021 and through timely purchases of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies, BTCS has substantially grown its digital assets over the last year. But that’s just me.

Disclaimer.: I am not a promoter of any mentioned app. I regularly follow these and recommendations only based on my personal research. There are various apps available in play store.

Robinhood is very user-friendly and they charge no fees, I still use it even as a more experienced investor now. They even offer limited investing in Crypto currencies which is nice because CoinBase and other Crypto-trading Apps charge outrageous fees.

Only real down-side I see with Robinhood is that they only trade BitCoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin right now.
