The ARK funds have been falling and unable to retake the 50 sma since March. When that happens long enough, you get a death cross; that time is nearing.
Similar charts in ARKF, ARKG, ARKW. ARKQ also getting turned back at the 50 sma but at least it has been holding the 200 sma.

Big stocks flirting with death crosses too (NFLX, AMZN, even reasonably-valued AAPL).

I am doing OKAY. As a brand new investor, I am playing things pretty conservatively.

I purchased 33 shares @13.40 2 days ago and am just sitting back and watching now. Total percent change is +15%-ish so ill take it

I only have 1,500$ as my starting capital for investing. I definitely dont view BB as a longterm play but I can definitely see it building to that 40-50$ range potentially. But what do I know.

Just be careful. It's very easy to get caught up in the hype of this year's big movers. Over the long-term, most people (including the best traders/investors out there) are thrilled with 10% gains a YEAR.

Yes, my inexperience and greed caused me to hold. I should have sold the moment I was up 180-200$ in profit off such a small initial investment. I held and watched it crash and burn haha. Cant say that, it is actually only 0.03cents less now than what my last average position was (13.37 now) ... I should have sold the moment it hit 19-20$.

That is one of my beef's with Robinhood. I can only do trades from 630am-1pm MT

Here is my "short list," of what I would like my portfolio to hold, can you guys tell me what you think of each? (No specific order)

    1. XOM - Exxon Mobil
    2. NKE- Nike
    3. DKNG- Draftkings
    4. CRM- SalesForce
    5. MMM- 3M
    6. PLD- ProLogis
    7. TXN- Texas Instruments
    8. TREE- LendingTree
    9. MPWR- Monolithic Power Systems
    10. AMAT- Applied Materials
    11. NRZ - New Residential Investment
    12. DIS- Disney
    13. V- Visa
    14. F- Ford (I actually liked them before they broke out this last week)
    15. GM/ COLD/ BABA/ BAC ..... General Motors/ Americold Realty/ Alibaba/ Bank of America

Thank you for your time. This to me. Again, I am a brand new investor. Would represent a decent well balanced portfolio with companies that, to me, have strong odds for positive longterm growth

If there are any that you would take out, let me know.
If there is a better option in the same sector, let me know.

I want to form an investment club in my area. Like just a bunch of fellow marijuana cultivators/ smokers who get together to talk about investing and actually have a group investment pool.

I'm trying to pinpoint the move in ARKG, IBB/XBI.
But it seems to be widespread.

BIIB got their Alzheimer's drug approved, so I see other Alzheimer's drugs moving (if BIIB can get theirs approved, others have let's just say very very good chances evidently).

But ARKG is genome related so...hype building in biotech in general it seems.

I managed to get into DKNG this morning at 50.60 ... It shot up right away to 53.53 but more importantly I think they are a really good long-term play. Especially if you can get into them before the end of June. IMO (before the interest in NFL season starts picking up)

UEC- Uranium Energy is another one daddy is feeling bullish on

LEU- Centrus Energy (another nuclear energy company)

How about BitCoin eating shit again today? down another 5% as I write this. hanging right around 34k.

Move to net zero 'inevitably means more mining'
    https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-57234610

Governments around the world are busy setting targets to transform their economies so they no longer contribute warming gases to the atmosphere, or more correctly have a net zero contribution.

This will mean phasing out the internal combustion engine and dramatically increasing renewable energy technologies, such as wind and solar.

The UK, for instance, wants all new cars to go electric from 2030. But to switch Britain's 31.5 million petrol and diesel vehicles over to a battery-electric fleet would take an estimated 207,900 tonnes of cobalt, 264,600 tonnes of lithium carbonate, 7,200 tonnes of neodymium and dysprosium, and 2,362,500 tonnes of copper.

This amounts to twice the current annual world production of cobalt (used in battery electrodes), an entire year's world production of neodymium (to make electric motor magnets) and three-quarters of the world production of lithium (battery electrolyte).

[Multiply that by 40 for the whole world's 1.4 billion internal combustion vehicles.]

Extraction rates have to be raised, the scientists argue, if only in the short term.

Eventually, large-scale recycling should be able to satisfy the demand for key commodities such as lithium.

New mining initiatives are often met with resistance because of the negative impacts they can have on the wider environment and on health. And some activities have drawn particular ire because they've become associated with labour abuses.
