So after all these bad years, is Macy's finally reached the bottom? With COVID in full swing, this should be dropping, but its not.

Traded over 1/3 of their float in just today's session.
Amazon is looking to open department stores; for the record, brick and mortar is not dead. There was just too much of it in America.

Partly true, but we also need to consider that a lot of the younger generation simply buy their stuff online and feel no need to browse a physical store.

    Yeah browsing physical stores SUCKS.
That's another thing that physical stores will need to fix. I'm not wasting my time because you think you can corral me into buying other stuff if I walk past it to find what I need.
If I'm walking there, it had better be there.

    That is awesome!

It was very sad to see ToysRus go away, at least there is some light in the tunnel here!

B & M are turning into "Lifestyle Destinations"--the big shopping center near me is putting in a HUGE gym/pool/exercise facility next to the grocery store they put in a few years back. I read something about an indoor water park as well as a bowling alley/pool hall being incorporated as the anchor chains die off.

Brick and mortars not dead yet I guess :p People want to spend more time outdoor after being locked down pretty much for the whole year last year

So this place still exists :D

I hear that Toys R Us is making a comeback in Macy's, that is a nice idea, I hope it pans out.

That's a bold venture in order to simply die together within a few years
