Hopefully it'll help with cross-play communication with Xbox players. My PC friends all transitioned from Xbox within the last 15 years (at different paces). Some still have Xbox. When we're playing something cross-play like Sea of Thieves just to relax sometimes, the PC players all have to use the shitty "party chat" built into Windows. Discord integration on Xbox would be awesome.

    That would be interesting.

Servers are usually player made, but official game servers, overlays, bots to control content.. its all in there already.

    MSFT: Not just micro-bullish

For a lot of long-term investors, it’s either AAPL or MSFT.
    Or maybe both.
Anyways, I have more positions on MSFT than any other FAAMG. I like how diversified they are, including OS, cloud service, cybersecurity, SaaS applications and games.
Here’s my reasons for holding MSFT till I’m dead. [IMG]

    ---Promise or Non-sense?---
    -
    Financial of MSFT
    Just look at Bill, man.
Everything is totally great - revenue is growing steadily year after year, and MSFT is flooding with cash flows. This is the most solid reason of all time for you to invest in this company.
I’m telling ya, this company just can’t fall[IMG], not even with two crashes.

    Products: Windows 11 [IMG]
Did you see the Windows 11 teaser?
It definitely looks a lot better than Windows 12 lite. It’s a chance for MSFT to redeem themself, even a chance to bump up their stock price.
I personally love the interface, hope it won’t be as buggy as Win10.
Tell me what you think about the new OS.
Is it promising and profitable? Or is it VISTA bad?[IMG]

The breaking news of divorce [IMG]
Three months ago the stock price went down after the divorce, but taking a toll on the future of MSFT?
From my perspective, I believe it will not affect the company’s operation in any way nor affect Bill’s wallet since he’s way too rich to give a damn. [IMG]

Make it absolute clear right here:
It’s a MUST BUY, MUST HOLD.

In my opinion, it’s one of the safest companies to invest in. Financially stable, still growing strong, and the office is still expensive asf. They even have a higher credit rating than the government (There’s only two of them on planet earth, along with Johnson & Johnson). Even if they’re not growing, they still have great dividends.
    What do you guys think?
Is there any hidden risk you think we’re overlooking? [IMG]
Let me know what you guys think about MSFT. Leave me anything and I'll get back to you.

Down -2% on the ATVI acquisition. They have some clean up to do with all the negative press ATVI has, but its a big step on consolidating the industry and grabbing one of the biggest names out there.

Microsoft shares are trading higher after the company reported better-than-expected Q2 EPS and sales results. The company also issued Q3 guidance.

    https://www.windowscentral.com/micr...her-executives-take-a-big-hit-to-compensation

    • Satya Nadella's 2023 compensation was $48,512,537 down from 2022's $54,946,310 compensation.
    • Other C-suite members were hit even harder like Amy Hood and Brad Smith losing between 22-24%.
    • The compensation amount for Satya Nadella is still 250-1 for the CEO-to-employee pay ratio.
Every year Microsoft is required to submit a regulatory filing that includes compensation for its CEO and other top executives. In the most recent regulatory filing for fiscal year 2023 submitted by Microsoft, we are able to see that Microsoft's C-suite has had a substantial reduction in its compensation over fiscal year 2022. This was mostly due to the company missing several of its financial targets for the year.

We have a breakdown of the compensation numbers and what it means on a larger scale.

How much does Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella make?
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella made $48,512,537 down from $54,946,310 the prior year an astounding 250 to 1 ratio compared to the average Microsoft employee. Speaking of the average Microsoft employee, we recently reported on the new hire salary for several Microsoft positions. The other executives named in the filing document also had substantial decreases in their compensation.

    • Satya Nadella FY2023 compensation - $48,512,537, FY2022 - $54,946,310, FY2021 - $49,858,280
    • Amy Hood FY2023 compensation - $19,902,897, FY2022 - $26,466,141, FY2021 - $23,466,141
    • Judson Althoff FY2023 compensation - $16,204,718 FY2022 - $18,848,998, FY2021 - N/A
    • Bradford Smith FY2023 compensation - $18,115,690 FY2022 - $23,408,739, FY2021 - $20,455,896
    • Christopher Young FY2023 compensation - $9,815,914 FY2022 - $11,270,458, FY2021 - $28,495,083
Satya Nadella lost 11.2% over last year, Amy Hood is down 24.4%, and Brad Smith 22.6% over their fiscal year 2022 compensation, and this is being caused by the company missing some of its financial goals.

Earlier, Microsoft laid off 10,000 employees.

In other news, Satya Nadella reiterated in a Business Insider interview that they'll continue doubling down on game development and publishing.

“When I think about Microsoft, I think of perhaps developer tools, proprietary software, and gaming,” the executive said. "Those are three things that we’ve done from the very beginning.”

“The way games are made, the way the games are delivered, is changing radically. Whether it’s mobile, or consoles, or PCs, or even the cloud. So, we’re looking forward to really doubling down both as a game producer and a publisher,” he said.

Been saying for years that TTWO and EA need to take a page from Apple's playbook, and look into producing their own consoles.
