The major indexes are at the week's high today. Tomorrow is OpEx, so should be higher volume; @Value543 has been pointing out we never go up on days with higher volume. So tomorrow may be red, but will only be worried if something falls below Wednesday's low. Also, curious if QQQ outperforms SPY on a red day.
Not the kind of close the bulls wanted to see today...oof! Tomorrow wil be interesting, for sure! My only point about volume is related to this current period we're in, e.g. since we entered this 2-3 weeks of comparatively light volume which lead to all of these "float up" days...then no...we haven't seen an up day when a day rolls around where we do see higher volume. Maybe tomorrow will buck the trend! OpEx, yes, but it's also the last day of a short week into a holiday weekend. Part of me wonders if many institutional traders will go home in the early afternoon to get a head start on Easter. Plus. it's Easter! That bunny needs to find an egg tomorrow, right? Therefore, I actually wouldn't be surprised if we do see light volume tomorrow, and another little float up..but who knows! I'll enjoy watching with everyone!
‘Jack Dorsey’s First Tweet’ NFT Went on Sale for $48M. It Ended With a Top Bid of Just $280. Crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi bought Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s first-ever tweet as an NFT for $2.9 million last year. He listed the NFT for sale again at $48 million last week. “The deadline I set was over, but if I get a good offer, I might accept it, I might never sell it,” Estavi said on Wednesday. Estavi has two days to accept the bid, or it will expire.
QT starts next month, I guess we won't know how resilient this market truly is until then, it is hard to be super bullish when the FED is taking liquidity away

Morning Lineup - Tax Day - 4/18/22 Mon, Apr 18, 2022 Below is a table we highlight each year showing the S&P 500's performance in the weeks leading up to and the weeks immediately following Tax Day. As shown, over the last 20+ years, the weeks before Tax Day have been much weaker for the market than the weeks after. This year has been no different thus far with the S&P falling more than 3% in the two weeks leading up to Tax Day. Now we just need the trend of gains in the two weeks following Tax Day to hold as well!

Looks like gold briefly touched $2k before coming back down If you believe high inflation will stay for awhile or stagflation is coming then gold should be a decent play
The market now moving lower, even those defensive sectors like healthcare and staples are moving down
