def quieter etc but they def have to get the charging times worked out b/c not like pulling in to fill up w/gas if on long trip lol
It looks like Tesla is expanding the Fremont factory with new construction on land next to the existing factory. This is going to get interesting.
There are a lot of model Y are starting to pour out of Giga Berlin. A wild guess would be in the range of 10K cars per month.
I found the new Tesla property in Fremont. It really is right across the street from the existing factory, on Kato Road. https://goo.gl/maps/hDjY8QY8ohVpkocU7 If you zoom out of this link a wee bit, you see the Fremont factory across the 262 highway. The buildings that Google shows are gone, now. It's a rough construction site.
It will be interesting to see what Tesla does with this property. Fremont is kind of cobbled together. I suspect they will eventually transform it into a monolithic factory like the others but that can't happen until they ramp production elsewhere. I suspect they will use the new property to make a sub-component like frame casting but it is large enough for two more general assembly lines.
Tesla has achieved a 1.5M unit annualized run rate. Giga Shanghai is a bit of an unknown. Tesla has, at least, three separate properties in the port area. The primary site is set to grow by a little more than double. We know there is a design studio on site, cell production, and some sub-assembly production. But, there is another site nearby they have been working on. Not sure what is going on there. Additionally, they have a site near the port for vehicle storage and yet another site where they build SuperChargers. Meanwhile, CATL is building a massive plant within a couple of blocks of Giga Shanghai. Giga Shanghai currently has an annual run rate of 1M vehicles with a goal of expanding to 2M units.
GM has doubled down on their 1M EV units by 2025. They now state they will achieve 2M EV units by 2025 and she has brought the engineering might of GM to bear on creating a PowerPoint presentation to prove this.
a few pages back i predicted tesla's price would be at $1000 by the time the kids go back to school. for the record, that is in the traditional back to school sense, i.e. after labor day.
i see no reason not to be, especially with the government handing over a wad of cash to go buy a tesla.
Bullish indication in MACD, Stochastic oscillator and RSI, according to stoxline. http://www.stoxline.com/quote.php?symbol=tsla
That's why it pays to be a Tesla shareholder. I remember that post, great call. I'm still very satisfied.
For what little it is worth, I believe Tesla is sandbagging their production rate. Apparently, workers at Giga Shanghai have been told their run rate is 1.2M vehicles per year. Fremont is running over 600K vehicles per year. Giga Berlin is running at a rate of roughly 120K units per year. (wild guess based on visual inspection of production parking lot activity) Giga Texas is turning out more units every day, also. Surely they are at 3K units per month. (also based on visual inspection of production parking lot activity) That adds up to 1,956,000 units per year. They will easily make the 2M annual unit run rate.
Not until you mentioned it, just now. It is the best GM retro product I have seen. Absolutely brilliant. What size pack is it going to come with?
Says up to 1500 Horsepower for the top of the line bad boy option. I ran across it on a feed, all I know.
