I've been reading about Elon Musk giving away crypto for a while. It seemed an obvious scam but, apparently, it's real.

How it works is that a popular youtube channel will get hacked. They target the big ones so it seems legit.

This particular channel had 100k subs on it, so it looks plausible when the change the channel name to "Starlink" or what ever.

Then they play some old footage of Elon from something unrelated, but in the chat scroll they will tell you to go register on some scam website which will steal your money.

Are you telling me I will not receive any free crypto?

If that is the case, I ordered way too many cheap boner pills.

I was not sure if you were serious or not because the crypto related scams can be very well done.

Crypto is, by far, the most scammy and dark corner of the gambling world. I find it astonishing that people still flock to crypto like cub scouts to a back alley crap game.

There is nothing specifically scammy about the idea of a block chain. It just comes down to legions of people who thing the idea of wealth redistribution is a great idea. You know... gambling...
