Well utilities and healthcare outperformed once again, we might need to see some positive earnings from the tech companies for the next couple of weeks after a huge run or we might begin to see rotation out of tech and into other sectors
The winning streak continues for the DOW MSFT and GOOGL earnings tomorrow should be interesting and we will see if tech will be the market leader once again or we will begin to see some profit taking
Tech earnings reactions look good initially, GOOGL has lagged its peers on performances lately so it is nice for them to have a pretty nice earnings beat
META up after earnings, maybe the DOW can extend its winning streak tomorrow if the SPX and the NASDAQ goes up on META
Big spike for bond yields today, it is putting pressure on stocks here and looks like the winning streak for the DOW is ending here
The market is betting on a huge stimulus from China, let's see if the market will be right China: Stimulus and private sector plan lift Chinese markets (fxstreet.com)
ELF up huge again after earnings, my average is around $103.14 so pretty happy with it so far although it is not really a big position
https://www.nbcnews.com/business/economy/fitch-downgrades-us-credit-rating-rcna84051 Fitch downgrades U.S. credit rating from top score after debt ceiling crisis Futures slightly lower
Fitch projects the deficit will rise from 3.7% of GDP in 2022 to 6.3% in 2023, & warned the U.S. economy will slip into a recession by end of this year Bad news down she goes tomorrow
Well finally a little bit of a pullback for this market after a huge run I doubt we will see anything close to 2011 after the downgrade from S&P back then but we will see if we are gonna see more volatility from here. AAPL and AMZN earnings tomorrow and the jobs report on Friday and the CPI next week I think. Ideally for this market would be seeing strong tech earnings and the economic data showing inflation continues to slow
Real estate, utilities and home builders are under pressure today, treasury yields spiking and it is a headwinds for those sectors
Green day today, but it was just an inside day of Friday's trading range. Momentum is still down, see what happens tomorrow.
