MY COMMENT YES.....I have a memory that goes back more than four years. AND....I have ZERO concerns about tariffs. In fact thinking longer term that 6-12 months....I actually welcome ANY tough talk or negotiations that will tend to reduce the amounts of tariffs that WE are paying around the world and will actually bring jobs and manufacturing back to the USA.
As you can see I am IGNORING....the continuing MISGUIDED short term market action today. I could use a lot stronger language than "misguided"......but why waste the time and effort. I will just sit and wait for the markets to come back to REALITY.....if or when..... it happens. it will either happen eventually....or....if it never happens....well than we will know that the markets have finally become totally screwed up. I dont expect that to be the case......YET......or within the next 10-15 years of my lifetime.....although we have seen great earnings beats from many, many, companies totally IGNORED and irrationally PUNISHED by the markets for many years now.
LOL.....as I have been typing and ignoring the markets I now see that ALL the big averages have gone.....RED, RED, RED. BUMMER. The real bummer.....is that I dont even care. They have simply worn me out lately with all the day to day BS.....LOL....I am now beyond caring. Actually.....a good thing.....not caring makes it much easier for me to sit and do nothing as I marvel at the great stocks on sale and the IDIOCY of the short to medium term markets.

At the moment I am.....CELEBRATING....three stocks that I own being UP today....PLTR, AAPL, and COST.
I do not own TSLA and have no plans to do so. I have owned it briefly in the past. In fact I try to NEVER own auto companies....they are on my list of businesses that I NEVER own....along with drug companies, banks, health care, oil companies, and some others. I do see.....however.....the reality of where ELON is going with TSLA. He is very much long term oriented with TSLA. He is fine with making money selling cars in the short to long-medium term. It is a way for him to fund what his real purpose is with the company. That real purpose being.....AI and SELF-DRIVING vehicles. He is going to end up being the KING of world transportation as we EVOLVE to a totally new transportation model of personal and business transportation via self driving cars that are...."on demand".....of done by some sort of subscription model.....in addition to personal ownership. He is such a long term thinker.....it is AMAZING to watch all the moving pieces he has on the board right now and how they will all come together over the long term. I am talking about......"X".....TSLA.....SpaceX.....Neuralink.....The Boring Company.....xAI.....Starlink.....TSLA EV Charging Network.....etc, etc.
OK...time to sit and wait. My fingers are tired of typing. So....I will go and work on some material for my rehearsal this Wednesday.
AMAZING.....how NVDA has become the go-to media and trading......market WHIPPING BOY.....over the past couple of months. We see this continue today. ANY....and I mean ANY.....story-line of the day...no matter what it is....is a negative for NVDA. EVERYTHING.....good, bad, positive, negative or anything in-between....is simply bad news for poor NVDA......according to the media and the opinion writers masquerading as financial journalists. Why? Well because anything that has the name NVDA or NVIDIA in it gets clicks. It could be a story about.......the color of the Pope's underwear.....and if you put the word NVIDIA in there...it gets clicks and down the stock goes. In the history of this thread over nearly SEVEN years....this takes the cake. In reality, most if not all, of the day to day story-lines...... have nothing to do with NVDA. Meanwhile in the background....forgotten and ignored..... the business that is called NVDA just plugs away selling MASSIVE and UNHEARD OF.....numbers of chips.....and making UNGODLY, and historic amounts of money. The reward for doing so.....a media beat-down nearly every day. Bad news is bad news. Good news is bad news. No news is bad news. Too much news is bad news. Making too much money is bad news. AND.....on and on and on. It is something to behold......how this company mints money.....and how the markets do not care.
As to the above.....this is what I mean when I talk about the NEGATIVE future of the markets on here once in a while. This is the definition of the word....SQUANDERING. Any big.....but new.....company has about 5-10 early GLORY YEARS at the start of their business dominance. After that they settle in as an ICONIC, BIG CAP, DOMINANT company for the long term. USUALLY in those epic first 5-10 GLORY YEARS is when early investors make massive money. This is what made HUGE amounts of money for me between about 1990 and 1998 with MSFT. NOW......we are seeing the start of that process being broken. It will be interesting to look back in about 2 years and see how this has played out.
"Less than good"......you are a master of understatement TireSmoke. Especially knowing what you hold. I had the same result as you today......EVERY....stock DOWN. Even my UP stocks earlier could not withstand the the market today. So ALL red.....and....I got beat by the SP500 today by 2.53%. Perhaps we should all just go to sleep and not look at the markets for the next 2-4 months.
To continue the above....looks like the media and analysts are all creating the current reality. I saw a massive number of articles and predictions that NVDA would lag in earnings and stock price for the first half of this year and than take off in the second half. WELL......they did not lag in earnings or guidance this time around for earnings......but WTF......why let that get in the way of a good media narrative.
Ok people......has anyone sold anything into the current market dip? PLTR? NVDA? TSLA? Others? Has anyone bought anything lately? I have no stock money right now but I will be buying my 1-2 shares each of PLTR and NVDA each month when I do my bills at the beginning of the month.

Not really. I spent today planing and booking some summer holidays, for me and my dearest wife. Last year I spent one week on Sardinia, this time Sicily will be. I will be there in June. In July I will have some time in Algarve, Portugal south part. I am not worried about markets. We are having just a "bump on the road". Lets move on.
