I responded in the main discussion board: I am not sure where @StockJock-e has been. I got no notification he was going to be taking a break or anything. I'm not involved in any of the administration of this site, only a moderator, so I'm not aware if Gil has plans of actually taking the site offline.

WOW....I skip the open for one day....and the whole site falls apart. I have been watching the markets so far today. I just dont see much of anything to post with no economic data....no earnings...no FED BS.....and no news today. I have not checked my account but I did check one of my kids accounts.....so I know that I have six of eight stocks UP right now and a good gain happening so far. My red stocks.....COST and HD.
I posted this on the daily update thread. BUT...it seems like this site is all set up and has a core group of posters. It is ready for someone that wants to run an investing site to just step in and go. ALL the hard work is done and there is a core group of posters and readers. I dont know why the current owner would not let someone else take over. The question being...is there anyone that would want to take over the site.

@TomB16 asked me to delete his thread, but I asked if I could just lock it instead. It was his decision and he asked to leave out of the blue, I'm not 100% sure what pushed him out the door. It was a surprising DM from him out of nowhere. I hope he will have a change of heart and make a return.
Yes it appears so. lol. I guess we do kind of have a small group of regulars when you think about it. Probably, in comparison to other sites as far as active traffic. I’m not counting the bots and other things that seem to inflate the numbers. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the site, but from some of the commentary provided by bigbear, it seems to be leaning toward more not “IF” but “WHEN”.
I think there was a bit of a dust up for a moment there in the TB16 section from what I seen. I think that was about the time he stepped out.
Wild times for sure. Any contingency plan? I'm not sure if a thread can be moved to another site but it would be nice to keep this one all together.
Check out main discussion thread Tiresmoke. Sounds like they might be looking into doing that, but the size of info may prevent it. There is another link to a contingency site in that thread….
