As to the above.....and many other stocks.....there are certainly some great sale prices out there right now on many stocks. Of course the near tern momentum is DOWN.....and....DIRTY. We are in a very NASTY and NEGATIVE market and correction.....and it is very difficult to invest money into such a market and see it go down. In the end it is a question of...first, having some money to invest......second, GUTS....third, being and seeing the long term picture.....and....forth, are you are trying minutely to time the markets.
I am not being negative...just realistic...but...I dont see much of anything that is going to quickly change the current market direction. NVDA earnings will not pull the market up....perhaps for a day. But once again they will be WASTED. My "GUESS"..... we are probably into a multi-month correction lasting into March and perhaps April. it is conceivable that the entire first half of the year will be a...... WASTELAND....perhaps even the entire year. I am not saying that this would be RATIONAL.....but I see nothing rational going on over the past couple of months. As an added bonus.....throw in the fall elections and all the politics that will happen between now and the fall......and....the political benefit of a poor market and economy...for the out of power party. In my view we have been seeing the impact of negative politics and trash talking the economy...... impacting the markets and the economy since the first of the year. (just an observation....nothing can or should be done about it one way or another....as an investor)
i sure hope that day never comes anytime soon. it will be the death knell to this community as we know it. just my own personal 2c anyway. i'm sure i speak on behalf of all the regulars on this site (or what is left of it now anyway) that we are and have forever been grateful to have someone like you W keeping this community afloat with fresh content every single day. for this never ever goes unnoticed! i haven't been logged in here for quite sometime now, and i was just curious to see what has been new recently, and all i can see for the exception of ONE thread (besides this one) from the recently posted threads for the past week are nothing but spammer threads. screenshot below for proof: perfectly illustrating that w/o you updating this thread W, this site would be an absolute ghost town of a community, for the exception of the spammers spamming away in their threads. especially that site isn't growing anymore (or hasn't for nearly 2 years now!!) due to the admin who has been AWOL for nearly a full year now having closed off new user registrations. pretty unfortunate tbh, but we are still so ever thankful and grateful to have you still actively posting everyday W. thank you truly from the bottom of my heart for all you've done for the community over the many years. love ya man. you're the best there ever was and there ever will be!
Just sitting back and riding along. No plans to sell unless we get to some new all time highs. In that case I'll move a couple shares to accelerate some of my car projects.
Amen to that! Amen to that as well! Nothing new to add. Just ignoring the nonsensical static and taking it one day at a time.
Man, NVDA has been BORING lately. All the good news and earnings? Nada. I swear, it really seems like sometimes the market wants to shake people out due to boredom, then (and only then) go for another leg up to the dismay of those same people.
I had a small....medium gain today....YEA. I also beat the SP500 by 0.53% today. Seems kind of weird to have a positive day. ONWARD and UPWARD.

But you also have to recognize that bad things can and will happen along the way." MY COMMENT Long term actually means......long term.
I agree completely. I am NOT a tech hater.....but it has to actually do something to make my life EASIER or I just skip it. A nice GAIN for me to start the day. NOW......we have to avoid the mid morning and noon and late day.....FADE. I start with four stocks GREEN and three RED...at this moment. The RED......GOOGL, AAPL, and of course....COST.
