AND.....I see that OIL is now below $80. And of course....the FED will do ....NOTHING. Kevin Warsh’s Fed is not expected to make any change to rates for a while, according to CNBC Fed Survey https://www.cnbc.com/2026/06/16/kev...for-a-while-according-to-cnbc-fed-survey.html We continue to ENJOY a historic....BULL MARKET. Things continue to line up nicely.......but....it will not last forever. Stay smart and let the LONG TERM do the heavy lifting and smooth out all the bumps along the way.
I tend to agree with this grouping as the GUTS of the market over the next 5 or so years. The 'Magnificent 7' is so last year. SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic are ushering in the FAB 10. https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/a...pic-are-ushering-in-the-fab-10-120409551.html ....."The FAB 10 (Frontier AI & Big Tech 10). This is the Mag 7 plus SpaceX, as well as the future listings of OpenAI and Anthropic. Together, these companies represent the future of AI & tech that will define the next decade."......
HERE comes a TIDAL WAVE of.....VOLATILITY. SpaceX options list on Tuesday. Here’s what to watch https://www.cnbc.com/2026/06/16/spacex-options-list-on-tuesday-heres-what-to-watch-.html
AND. ‘Godfather’ of options sees SpaceX surpassing Nvidia, Tesla as early trades come in https://www.cnbc.com/2026/06/16/god...ing-nvidia-tesla-as-early-trades-come-in.html
ASSUMING....we can get the IRAN deal finalized.....here is the NEXT.....MONEY IN THE BANK.....little black swan for the markets. It is just a matter of when....NOT.....if. Trump turns his attention to Ukraine ahead of Iran deal: ‘I’m going to do whatever I can’ https://www.cnbc.com/2026/06/16/trump-zelenskyy-ukraine-war-iran-g7-summit.html
We had a pretty good open....but now....not so much. The MID MORNING FADE. So time to sit and wait for the close......when ALL will be known. At least for one day.
And for know, that's exactly what they should do. NOTHING Things are moving along just fine, no need to mess with success..........
I'm going to temper my response to this "Good News" , this is not a place where we debate politics, BUT, I will say that in this area , We could be a day late and a dollar short ................. Democracy should be defended on the WORLD stage , period, end of story Not on the ability to placate ........nevermind
I'll wait for the fall, unfortunately, I said the same thing when tesla was at about $130.......argh hindsight is 20/20, BUT, log it in the memory
I don't see a rush, OMR. For me, snap snap decisions are never a good idea, even when I get away with it. SpaceX can add a ton of value with orbiting data centers but not 2T worth of value. Personally, I will probably wait until it looks like Terafab has a chance of success, before I throw my hard earned get-rich-quick money into the ring. With vertical integration, SpaceX can grow into the 2T valuation. Without it, I don't see how they can.
I had a medium LOSS in my stocks today. BUMMER....we got one good day from IRAN. Better than nothing. I was LUCKY....to miss the entire day after the morning open....GREAT.
I'm with you, Monday was one of those once every couple of years days, UP 3.12% , AMG GT-C Convertible here I come. I put a beat on just about every index known to man......ok slight exaggeration Today we decided to go in the wrong direction ........ DN 1.10% Nevermind, put the Merc AMG GT-C back on the lot , I can't do a white interior....... I mean we can't take it with us ...................... and Remember ....... If you don't fly First Class......Your Kids Will !!
I don't do Kalshi, I think that it promotes the wrong values in YOUNGER people. Get rich quick vs the long term. And gambling CAN become addictive, just like booze. But I bet you they have odd's on what the new Fed Chairman is going to say ............... I'm going with NO CHANGE this time around. Any takers ?
My portfolio is up on the opening, Led by Micron, IONQ, SMH, SPMO and XLK I have SPMO in a small position as I am seeing how it reacts to the market So far, I am impressed ...... Driving into work for the first day since my Lumbar Laminectomy surgery on the 3rd ...... Wish everyone else on the road "Good Luck"
@oldmanram I will be the little red devil on your shoulder telling you to buy the car! It's so amazing how easy it is to spend other peoples money! By following your posts it appears you have your ducks in a row and like you said if you don't spend it your kids will! As you know cars are a depreciating asset and what are lame accounting friends call a 'liability'. AMG's are amazing cars but you need to be the type of person that is fine with big repair and maintenance bills. They do break. I daily a M car and I will say it makes the daily commutes 1000 times better. When people ask about ownership the best way I can describe it is if you can truly afford it then its a good experience. Buying the car is only part of the battle. I can do most of the maintenance my self which is good but retail $200 oil changes, multi $1000 fluid change services, $1000 tires every 2 years, expensive insurance, electronic issues... If something breaks or need fixes I just get it done, no thinking about it, no complaining about it. Actually I like to joke about it and let my friends make fun of me. It's nice to do nice things for yourself, especially after you've set up your wife and kids. I will say do you research on the forums and on the youtube to get a full picture of what the car really is. I know too many guys who worked there entire life, retired and bought a corvette and soon realize that it doesn't fit their lifestyle or health or comfort. I love two seaters but I sold mine because everywhere I go I like to take my son so the car never got used. So keep that in mind. Buy the car, mile it up, save nothing for the next guy!
