I don't have chart programs so I can only use Yahoo Finance. I'm getting different moving averages that the ones you've listed, but it's close enough... It shows 20MA = $108, 50MA = $102.16, 200 MA = $102.60. I have an order set at $103.50. Anyone remember how the days leading up to an Apple event are like? Climb or decline? There seems to be more "negative" news for this event, simply because of the phone jack removal and minor upgrades to the iPhone and Mac line. Btw, when you say "long-term trade", how is the length of time compared to a "long-term hold"?
Yes! That's the thing! You, me and other non-Jobs' are restricted by the current state of technology. Whereas Steve had always seen opportunities and demand, and only after that would he start thinking about the technology. That's what I miss about Apple's old days...
Or maybe Jobs was working in the time when tech was developing like crazy so that his ideas were able to find realization. Or most of them at least.
Jobs was good at taking an existing idea, making it pretty and easy to use. The full screen phone was already around, but the design and OS were clunky. He cleaned it up. The MP3 player already existed, he made the ipod and clean and simple design. These were huge innovations at the time, but now there is nothing around to follow up on those acts.
The only thing around that I can think of is Virtual Reality. It's "around", but maybe Apple can come up with something no one else could think of.... I don't know...
AAPL please do something about the iPhone battery life! lol I've had the SE for only about, what's it been, like 4 or 5 months? (in other words -- it's still fairly new) and I can't even go more than about an hour or so w/o needing to recharge again ... what up with that? This was a HUGE problem for me when I was out on vaca a few months ago ... just terrible I don't even overcharge on my battery or nothing (if that is what is assumed) ... I have it to play a sound once its reaches 100% Hopefully this is addressed in next Wednesday's event when they unveil the iPhone 7 ... aside from that I can't complain too much
Nah, nothing on that front. Vive and Rift have already shown the way. Sure you can get lighter and better HMD (head mounted displays), but those require more powerful graphic cards in your PC that Nvidia and AMD make, not AAPL.
I think it will outperform relative to the market. I think iPhone 7 should slightly beat expectations, which aren't that high.
$AAPL Samdung must be regretting allowing some of its top battery ppl get poached away from Apple right about now.
Thats the billion dollar question. My thinking is that Apple is investing more and more into healthcare. This is a huge thing because as tech takes up the majority of healthcare they have to items to make things run efficiently. There is no way that with their superior brand presence the hospitals would use inferior tech. This is only a guess though but that is where there is an area for "growth"
I really don't believe current Apple will dare to develop new untested technology. Most legit choice for them is VR
It will be so expensive compared to other headsets though, like everything Apple produces. That is considering that VR headsets are expensive in general.
This will dip in the beginning of the day to about $107.20 and then peak at about $108. Then drop on the boring news!
