@OldFart hope so! although it almost looks from that radar imagery you posted that we might be right on the edge of the precip (in other words hit or miss!) ... damn ... gonna be a close one lol! meanwhile it looks like @Gil Oren who is about 3 hours east of me will be getting the rain for sure! dang it gil lol! push some of that to the west! we need it here!!
whelp ... we did get "some" rain last night ......................... barely and now here's what we have to look forward to for the next several days ....... *facepalm* i'm all down for sunny weather (and heck it's going to be much cooler here today at least) but srsly? no rain in sight for days if not weeks out ... and we BARELY GOT ANY RAIN FROM THIS STORM!! we really needed that rain badly *sigh*
well will ya look at that ... there's actually a chance of some rain showers by EOW ... woohoo *GOLF CLAP* friggin' hasn't rained here since that tropical system a few weeks back (which wasn't even much of anything either *ahem*) ... we haven't had a serious downpour in months damn it!!!
That's a pretty cool image. As I recall, you are in the Tampa Bay area and should be OK in terms of impact from this one. I do hope for the best for the east coast of Florida and up the eastern seaboard. Even if it stays off the coast and moves north over the ocean it is going to cause pretty significant storm surges during high tide especially. Good part is most coastal dwellers are used to it and know what to expect but if this things veers more to the west and makes landfall it's not going to be pretty.
