I'm unsure why, with the potential interest rate increase, that bank stocks would fall during a negative section if it's supposed to contribute to bank earnings.
TTT, what do you think of WFC? Short-term downtrend for several months and then straight back up, unless it's revealed Buffett sold out his entire stake?
With all the turmoil WFC could fall until we get back to another FED meeting providing it is positive. If Buffet bails look out below. When he pulled out T, it added a lot of selling pressure. Months back when I sold C I was considering WFC but went with BAC instead
Long-long term, even if Buffett bails out I want to think it'll be fine, just like all the other banks post 2008/2009... I could just be naive though. Are you, and is anyone looking into JPM? This whole Buffett's protege being part of the board is very interesting.
JPM is another bank stock I was considering with their nice divi but again went with BAC. When the FED loosens up they will all be good. I am in for the long haul with BAC and VLY.
Janet Yellen said on Wednesday she was unaware of any contact between a Fed policymaker and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, as the central bank came under renewed accusations of letting politics affect interest rate policy.
