Tesla shares rose more than 4 percent in premarket trading. Janus Capital — The fund management firm is merging with U.K.-based Henderson Global Investors, creating a company with a market value of approximately $6 billion. The new company will be named Janus Global Henderson Investors and will manage more than $320 billion in assets. Mylan, Wells Fargo — Hillary Clinton will unveil a plan that would make it easier for consumers to take legal action against "bad corporate actors," citing Wells Fargo and Mylan, a campaign official told Reuters. Accenture — Pacific Crest raised its price target on Accenture shares to $130 from $129, as the firm's "positive commentary abates some concerns on the demand environment, particularly in financial services." Freeport McMoRan — Deutsche Bank upgraded Freeport's stock to "buy" from hold, citing an improving balance sheet and upside exposure to copper. Deutsche also raised its price target on the stock to $12.50 from $12. Goldcorp — The company's stock was upgraded to "hold" from "sell" at Deutsche Bank, with analysts citing a more balanced risk/reward view. Deutsche also increased its price target on the stock to $16 from $15. Marathon Oil — Marathon Oil announced the sale of non-operated conventional assets for $235 million. The assets, located in West Texas and New Mexico, averaged about 4,000 of oil equivalent per day in the first half of 2016. Deutsche Bank — Politicians in Germany have accused the United States of waging an "economic war" against them as worries over the biggest German lender's future persist. The U.S. Justice Department requested that Deutsche pay $14 billion to settle a mortgage-backed securities mis-selling case. PTC —PTC lowered slashed its fourth-quarter earnings and revenue expectations, saying it sees both numbers coming "below the low end of our prior guidance" of 36 to 41 cents per share, on $305 million to $310 million in sales. PTC also said it expects restructuring costs to total between $75 million and $80 million for fiscal 2016, above the previous guidance of $50 million to $70 million. Wynn Resorts — Wynn's stock rose more than 2 percent in premarket trading following the release of better-than-expected gaming data from Macau. Gambling revenue in Macau rose 7.4 percent year-over-year in September, marking the second straight month of growth after more than two years of decline. Cabela's — Cabela's stock surged more than 14 percent before the bell after Bass Pro Shops announced it was buying the retailer for $65.50 per share. Rumor is Disney looking to buy Netflix. Just rumors; I don't think anyone would pay the premium on NFLX. Note that they invoked the name of Disney in the rumor. That got all the retail traders to add buying pressure, and got NFLX over some tough resistance.

Olive Garden's parent company posted fiscal first-quarter earnings of 88 cents per share, 6 cents a share above estimates. Revenue came in slightly below consensus, however. Darden also raised its fiscal-year earnings guidance to a range of $3.87 to $3.97 s share from $3.80 to $3.90 a share. Cypress Semiconductor — A Securities and Exchange Commission filing showed the company adopted a restructuring plan on September 27. Cypress expects to cut about 500 jobs, or approximately 8 percent of its total workforce. CME Group — The company said its average daily volume rose 6 percent year over year in September to 15 million contracts per day. Metals volume averaged 383,00 contracts per day last month, up 30 percent from September 2015, while energy volume rose 25 percent year over year. Aegion — The Missouri-based company posted mixed quarterly results, with second-quarter adjusted earnings per share beating consensus by 1 cent a share. Sales missed estimates, however. Aegion also said in a statement that its "adjusted 2016 EPS will likely fall below adjusted result in 2015." Netflix — MarketWatch reported the streaming giant's stock was bolstered by speculation that it could be a taken over by Walt Disney. The site cited a client note from R.W. Baird analyst William Power, who wrote Netflix has been the subject of "recent M&A rumors," and "whether Disney, Apple or someone else, Netflix could become a target." Salesforce.com — Salesforce entered an agreement to buy Krux, a San Francisco-based software start-up, for about $700 million in cash and stock,The Wall Street Journal first reported. Salesforce shares were up marginally before the bell. Dynegy — The Texas-based electric company named Martin Daley its new chief operating officer as it gets set to close the takeover of French utility firm ENGIE. "The executive management team we have in place will support our goal of optimizing our post-ENGIE acquisition company to best succeed in a competitive and changing energy environment," CEO Robert Flexon said in a statement. Transocean — Transocean shares rebounded 2 percent in premarket trading, a day after falling 7.6 percent following the announcement that the company had lost its contract for Discover India, an ultra-deepwater drillship. The contract was originally scheduled to end January 2021. Alphabet — Alphabet subsidiary Google is expected to launch a series of new smartphones in an attempt to compete with Apple and Amazon. Apple — Apple has launched its contactless payment service in Russia, the U.S. technology announced on Tuesday, as it continues the global rollout of Apple Pay. @Ken34 hmm yes this beginning to look kind of interesting down here for the yellow metal if you strike a support trendline on the lows on this daily chart, its basically cracked it, but that isn't the be all end all imo lots of news events this week, the most notable one being the bls # at the end of the week that could certainly turn this around eh
its the jobs report that has me scared to move lol, its a nice buy spot imo, but man, you never know what the jobs report could do to this thing.
