Opus Bank reports 3Q loss IRVINE, Calif. (AP) _ Opus Bank (OPB) on Monday reported a third-quarter loss of $3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. The bank, based in Irvine, California, said it had a loss of 9 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 50 cents per share. The state-charted commercial bank posted revenue of $76.9 million in the period. Opus Bank shares have declined 37 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 39 percent in the last 12 months.
