Thinking about closing my position too. At least going to take 1/3rd off the table if it gets a little closeresearch to $8.
Today was a mega payday as I also sold 1/3 of my Jan 20 $7 calls for over a 1570% profit I still hold all my Jan 20 $5.50 calls
So where does everyone expect this to go in the near future? I'm thinking it heads up to around $8, where it couldn't break through last time it was up here. Hopefully a dip once it gets up there, back to around $7.50 or so for re-entry. I'll be taking profit around $7.90ish, and hoping to get back in on a dip.
There is a fair chance it will break $8 in the near term and that is where I will take my next profits and possibly buy some puts at the same time. I think early in this thread I gave a long term price target of $10.25 where a double top awaits. I still stand by that if all that.
Recent Insider Trading: Another insider sale of $250K, but only 5% of his position. Only one person this time instead of the big group the last time. Probably not enough for the shorts to try to use that info again to push the price down. Looks like this guy sold too early too, with share price at only $6.76
I sold too early yesterday at $7.30, for small gain. wish I hold on a little longer. I got some great info from you guys - still learning
This should calm the fears of the recent insider selling Insiders sell stock to diversify assets and is highly regulated and scrutinized. Insiders can only sell shares at certain times during the year, and when they do, they must acknowledge that they are not in possession of material, nonpublic information. Many insiders use planned selling programs as a means to ensure they do not violate insider-trading laws. Recently, various executives have taken part in insider selling activity for the stocks of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), and International Business Machines Corp.(NYSE:IBM). Let’s take a closer look: http://www.smarteranalyst.com/2016/...-fb-international-business-machines-corp-ibm/
AMD (AMD) shot up 10% on Wednesday following news that Alphabet (GOOGL)-unit Google will use its chips in its cloud platform. AMD leapt Wednesday on news that Google will use its FirePro server GPUs for its cloud-computing platform starting next year.
Congrats to those who stayed in for another day! I do regret selling yesterday but still happy with getting profits. Looking at a $7.50 or below entry that might pop up in the next couple weeks.
The resistance is undetermined on a run like this, you would have to go back to a 5 year chart to pick up somewhat of a resistance. The volume is extreme this morning. A ballbark guess is AMD could be up between 11 and 14 percent
So glad I worked the night shift last night and slept way thru the open so I didn't have a chance to sell this too early!
A big pay day for me today! Special thanks to @Tiptopptrader who has helped and contributed along the way.
I wonder what is this SEC filing is about ? https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/2488/999999999716026894/9999999997-16-026894-index.htm
