Happy Thanksgiving Day Stockaholics! From all of us here at Stockaholics wishing all of you & your family & friends a very happy & safe Thanksgiving Day holiday! Gobble! Gobble! I can't believe Turkey Day is going to be here already! Seriously, where has the time gone this year?? Haha. Anyway, just curious but are any of you guys here on Stockaholics going to be away for the big holiday? Anywhere special? As for me -- I will be home for a change! First time I can remember in a long while! My uncle and cousin are visiting from Florida for the entire week. They have been long overdue for a trip up to NC. They've only visited here like once since I moved to NC in 2006! It seems I'm always making the trek down there. So, it's about time they decided to drive up! Should be fun. Can't wait! Food. Fun. Football. It's the one day where I actually allow myself to indulge a little ... no worries about dieting or whatever! I'll worry about that the day/week after. Hope you all have an awesome time with your family & friends and where ever it is that you guys intend to spend the holiday! Enjoy it!!!
Almost forgot to post this in here as well ... but I already got my Christmas tree up! I'm always one of the first homes in my neighborhood having the tree up! Lol. I couldn't have done it w/o my nephew though! He was a huuuuuuuuge help!

Happy early Thanksgiving to everyone! My family and the wife's family are both in the area, so we go see her family for lunch and my family in the evening. She likes to put the tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving, I like to do it after. We'll see who wins this year! Side note: This will be our last Thanksgiving and Christmas without a kid!
Whoa whoa whoa ... hold up now just a minute there! Am I reading this correct Chris? You telling me you're gonna be the newest dad in town come next year this time? If this is indeed true ... whelp you know what that calls for -- Seriously, that is pretty flipping awesome to hear if true. You're gonna have to definitely let us in on when that big day is getting close!
So you're saying the little sleep I get already is about to become even less!? I work 2 nights a week and 2 days a week as it is, so my schedule couldn't get too much more messed up!
Stopped by to wish everyone a Happy Thanks-giving An Cy your Xmass tree post made me laugh and you might wanna do what some man around here does. Around Halloween he puts everything up and then he takes decorations down as the holiday passes so right now the outside of his house is covered for Thanksgiving and Xmass.
Bump! Whelp, it's hard to believe that it's almost that time again. Anyone here on Stockaholics going away next week for the big feast? I may be taking a small one or two day trip with my family. Weather was really nice out here yesterday, and with the markets being as choppy as they were I took advantage of it and put up all of my Christmas lighting and decorations outside my home. Next up is the tree! I'll post some pics in here a little later this weekend. Anyway, I hope everyone has a really nice holiday with their families & friends!
