    It just keeps getting better>

AMD expects $1.5B in future revenue for three new gaming processors—but what are they?or Show.
During AMD's Q1 2016 earnings call on Thursday, executives from AMD estimated a 15 percent revenue increase in Q2 2016, plus or minus 3 points, and they cited three semi-custom system-on-chip (SOC) "wins" as the "larger driver" for that revenue. AMD estimates that these SOCs will bring in $1.5 billion in revenue "over the next three or four years." At least one of those three SOC deliveries will begin "ramping" in the second half of this year, with all of those SOCs launching by 2017.

AMD Drops A Big Hint About New Consoles From Microsoft, Sony And Nintendo
Evidence keeps mounting that we’re going to be getting new consoles, and soon. Rumors and vague statements have been swirling around for a few weeks now, with some of the most definitive statements coming from Gamestop’s COO, who dropped a massive hint to investors that his company was going to have some new consoles to sell. The next iteration of the corporate hint comes from AMD CEO Lisa T. Su, who told investors about three major “design wins” in their semi-custom business expected to start producing revenue in the second half of 2016 (via Gamesindustry.biz). That’s coming up, of course.

It’s not difficult to read into this one. The Xbox One PS4 and Wii U contain AMD chips, and there’s reason to assume that the next series of consoles will as well. So that’s important information for AMD investors in 2016, and you can understand why Su would want them to know about it. AMD stock, incidentally, is up 36.64% at the time of this writing.

Not all three of these will be definitely coming in 2016, though, according to Su. One of these devices won’t start manufacturing until 2017. My guess would be that means we’re getting the Playstation 4 and the Nintendo NX this year. — we’ve heard much more specific information on those, with only vague statements from Phil Spencer to go off of from the Microsoft ends of things.

“I don’t believe that we’ve gone through any detail about what those wins are,” she said, according to Gamesindustry.biz. “So I would prefer to let that come out as our customers are ready to launch.”

It’s pretty much the same situation as the Gamestop hint: these consoles are major business for both Gamestop and AMD, and both stand to benefit from new hardware. They’ve clearly got Non-Disclosure Agreements and can’t say anything in particular, but they’re both dancing just about as close to that line as possible.

The screenshot of the close says it all and besides the percentage pop, check out the volume. Note it also closed on the HOD and most likely there is more gains coming up next week before a meaningful buying op surfaces.

For those of you that missed the AMD boat you might consider some calls or wait for the normal pull backs to jump on board. There is so much positive news out there on AMD but many of the analysts don't take much note of VR (Virtual Reality). This is the future now for gaming and AMD has a 83% market share of VR and works with Sony and Gamestop to name of few.

Looking at my sales log on MerrillEdge the drop on AMD this morning is all shorts from what I can see. This is a good thing for the stock to move forward. Once the institutions decide it's a good entry price again they will squeeze them out.

I missed the hookup with Nantong Fujitsu. Interesting . A little short covering on AMD happening right now. If you bought the 15% drop or more as I suggested on my Top Picks thread you are now profitable as it is now a 12.28% drop,

Why AMD Analysts Have Such Different Views After Massive Earnings Rally
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) saw a serious giveback on Monday after a massive rally on Friday after earnings. AMD guided for non-GAAP operating profitability in the second half of 2016, although this is still a situation that remains difficult for many analysts and investors to agree on for the quarters and years ahead.

24/7 Wall St. has compiled data from many different analyst research reports. The aim is not to feature AMD just with a positive or a negative view.

One driving force for investors was AMD licensing its processor and system on a chip (SoC) technology to a joint venture for China’s server market. AMD also appears to be on track to begin its joint venture with Nantong Fujitsu. Both joint ventures should generate positive cash for AMD, and CEO Lisa Su was optimistic ahead of the second half of 2016.

Again, there are many views here that conflict with each other. The aim is to show a 360-degree view.

Credit Suisse said that it was maintaining its Underperform rating, but the firm did raise its price target to $3.50 from $1.90 in the call. The firm’s John Pitzer said:
