When does the fed meet? Is it tomorrow or next week?

I think everyone agrees they are going to raise rates. Maybe that's why we are shooting up. The confirmation that our economy is strong.

Until Trump is sworn in. Then everything will get spun as bad news no matter if it's good or bad. Just the opposite of a Democrat administration.

 

The FED will announce the decision on rate next Wednesday I believe. I think the rally today is somewhat related to the ECB meeting tomorrow, European markets have rallied since this Monday

 

Nope....It's not...Good thing the portfolio went back to stocks the Friday before the election got lucky.

thanks again for the nugt reminder, i took profits today, gdx hitting right up against the 21 ema, and i rather not hold going into a binary event.

 

I'm getting killed in the market today, but not on this happy accident. I went ahead and took my profit, which was just over $100.00 before they announce earnings. What the hell, right?

If the central banks don't screw up then I think it is highly likely that we rally till end of the year. People who are up 20 to 30% on something like financials since the election probably prefer not to take profit in December for tax reasons

 

Well, I should have left my lulu position alone. Woulda coulda shoulda.

Ah well. I'll just take the small win and be happy something was in the positive today.

Yeah, i'd hope so. Haven't really been spending a whole ton of time on forums but I've been doing well shorting gold and buying the market dips, lol.
