Welcome to the board @latif. You bought a little high and you may have to wait a awhile to recoup your loss. It has to be your call on whether to hold or not.

One of the hardest things about investing is trying to keep emotion in check. Keep in mind that any trade you enter can make you money and lose you money. You have to be willing to get out of a trade at a loss when things turn against you. That is not implying you should sell AMD right now. What you should do is figure out before you enter how much you are willing to risk overall and how much of that amount you are willing to risk to lose. So if you put 1,000 dollars into the trade on 10 dollar stock and are willing to lose say 100 of that then your sell point would be 9 dollars. With AMD 9 dollars looks like a fair support point for the current uptrend. I would give it a little breathing room to hold support above 8.75 since it is pretty tight. If it breaks below then sell it an move on. If it continues up keep looking at current support levels (they change as stock rises) and exit when the trend seems to break. That's my opinion and would not tell you emphatically that you should hold or sell.
