Motherboard Vendors Optimistic about High Price-Performance Ratio of AMD Ryzen AMD Ryzen, the high performance processor based on the company's "Zen" micro-architecture, will increase the company's market-share of the desktop CPU market in Q2-2017, according to sources from motherboard manufacturers, in a report by Taiwan-based industry observer DigiTimes. The report states that motherboard manufacturers are "optimistic about [Ryzen's] high price/performance ratio," prompting them to ramp up orders of motherboards for the new platform, from their suppliers. According to the report, the new platform built around the AMD Ryzen processor will be officially released by the end of February 2017, and will enter global mass-shipments in March. It will help increase AMD's desktop processor market share in the following quarter. The sources point out that motherboard vendors are sourcing high-end X370, mid-range B350, and entry-level A320 chipsets from AMD, and their new product designs are now in the final stage of related testing. The B350 and A320 chipsets are already launched, to support the 7th generation A-Series "Bristol Ridge" APUs. https://www.techpowerup.com/229041/...out-high-price-performance-ratio-of-amd-ryzen
This is a real diamond in the rough. Its rare to get in so low in a growth company just starting its run. Stay the course. Quite bullish.
were good guys, its NVIDIA that ran it up like crazy, they ran 20 billion dollars in 2 weeks, while we made 1 billion lolz
This sounds silly but funny. AMD Ryzen Processors can possibly OC to 5 GHz On Air http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/amd-ryzen-processors-reach-5-ghz-on-air.html

Early in 2016 I had put a 10.25 long term price target on AMD and it easily broke that and my next target of 12.25 as it soared to 12.42 and very overbought as the upgrades have came in basket-fulls. Then comes the NVDA beat-down that caused a pulled back in semi's with AMD currently at 11.34 as the RSI has dropped slightly under overbought The future catalysts and too numerous to mention with probable and possible scenarios. One that could cause a explosion would be if they pick up the contract of INTC a 1.5 Billion dollar contract from NVDA that expires on March 17th. After doing a little DD I found out that INTC was forced into that contract from a law suit. That still puts it at a possible but gives INTC more due cause to shop for a better price. With all that I put my next mid term target at $14.50 with a double top waiting at $16 for my long term target.
A StockTwits member has observed the following from the video. Gotta say that is a pretty good marketing commercial.

AMD debuts Radeon FreeSync 2 for gaming displays with stunning image quality Above: FreeSync 2 prevents tearing and also offers better pixel quality. Image Credit: AMD Advanced Micro Devices is introducing Radeon FreeSync 2, a new display technology that will enable monitors to show the exact intended image pixels that a game or other application wants to. The result will be better image quality for gamers, according to AMD. With the FreeSync 2 specification, monitor makers will be able to create higher-quality monitors that build on the two-year-old FreeSync technology. Sunnyvale, Calif.-based AMD is on a quest for “pixel perfection,” said David Glen, senior fellow at AMD, in a press briefing. With FreeSync 2, you won’t have to mess with your monitor’s settings to get the perfect setting for your game, Glen said. It will be plug-and-play, deliver brilliant pixels that have twice as much color gamut and brightness over other monitors, and have low-latency performance for high-speed games.
