It was supposed to be much later in the day. 6:30 I think they said and I don't know if that is Pacific or Eastern
That explains a lot. I can't imagine it would be bad news. So why the late delay in announcement? Yeesh.
I went ahead and closed my position today for a small loss. When it was up to $120 my position was a $300 loser. Was able to close it for about $60 dollar loser instead. Thanks to this huge down move.
Strong bull spam here tonight, think we see a flat open and drift lower tomorrow, gap over 105 and hold I'm out of shorts.
Right in the middle of the range. Play it against 100 but if it drops 100 you are seeing 90 quick IMO
I would say yes,and you can only keep a good stock down so long. A lot of good stuff came out of CES but couldn't move the needle then
Stocks are gently floating higher today on light volume. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is again within about 50 points of 20,000. While all seems fantastic, one stock that is struggling is NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA). The semiconductor company traded as high as $109.19 earlier but has since fallen negative. It now trades below $107. The decline in the share price has happened while the stock market has been floating straight up. This is a clear and present negative divergence with the underlying equity markets and should serve as a caution sign for investors. The stock is also making a bearish inside bar pattern on the daily stock chart. This again is signaling sharp downside. I am still in the camp that NVIDIA Corporation hits $70 before making a long term bottom.
This was the first year for me in a while when CES went by completely unnoticed by me. Oh well, wasn't gonna do anything with my stocks anyway.
The strongest trends have narrow range bars and small retracements like NVDA between Feb and Nov but then the volatility came into the market; public greed being fed by the smart money. And then it had that classic climatic action.....trends end in a climax. Whether or not the ensuing trading range breaks down is yet to be seen.
