BABA and GLW were 2 more winners for me. Sadly, SKWS is still going up strong and eating up all my profits from those other two trades. Sigh.

So far Free and STX are being good to me. If they keep going up through tomorrow I'll be happy. Now I just need BA to open flat.
What's the symbols mean in the Guidance column: Did TXN guide up? Did CREE guide in-line? If blank then no guidance, or no change in guidance?
good question i was curious of that too ... i was thinking that was what they meant as well ... but i'm not going to include that in the screen capture for future earnings results in here until i find out for sure that is what those symbols mean.

Did pretty good last night. BA was barely profitable after costs. Maybe I made $5. But Free I made about $80 (I think) and STX I made about $180.00. So, all in all a good earnings night last night.

I went 50/50 with last night's earnings. Lost on 2 and gained on 2. Not sure of the numbers yet but I think I lost a few dollars. Or together it was a scratch.
I went equal weight on CAT and LUV weekly calls. Made out 260% on LUV and only -50% on CAT. Makes up for my BABA loss earlier in the week. I was also going to get some calls on LLL but I had meetings all afternoon and couldn't get in. Damn work always getting in the way of my trading.

Why is sbux sinking so hard? Don't get me wrong. I'm happy. I took a shot and bought a put and funded it by selling calls. And it seems to be paying off. But it doesn't seemed to have missed. So why is it sinking?
Well SBUX did miss on revenues. Looking at history, where this company was making $0.60-0.80 EPS in 2014, now it's more like $0.40-0.50. And rate of revenue growth is slowing; where analysts were not even expecting 10% growth any more (in 2015 there was 17% growth), and then the company can't even meet those lowered expectations... We could be looking at contracting earnings, and a new CEO angst.
Starbucks says that crowd of people waiting for their Frappuccinos is hurting sales http://www.cnbc.com/2017/01/26/star...-for-their-frappuccinos-is-hurting-sales.html Seems like they blame mobile pay for the reason why they had weak same store sales. Starbucks is a 85 billion dollars company, it is hard to get huge growth when you become that big.
