Agreed, I think most all of the already announced products are already priced in. What could still make the stock go up from here though would be a possible deal with Intel (or any other deals). To me it seems that the rest is just momentum and short-term swing traders. Obviously other random good news or bad news could push it around as well.
$400 I just got the RX 480 and love it. I've only gotten AMD video cards for some reason. You can buy 2x RX 480s in crossfire for < $400

They also seem to be quite popular in GPU cryptocurrency mining rigs. It seems like Nvidia integration is an afterthought. I wonder what the new 2017 macbookpro refresh will be. I have an AMD Pro 455 in there too From a product standpoint, I love AMD and think the Ryzen will be healthy competition to move it forward.

Maybe that will help ^. Last week's momentum was off; despite more volume than the previous week, it had less price effect. And now it is inside the value area printed in 2007; but $16 is not out of the question I suppose.
So, it has had 8 consecutive days above the 5-day MA. I suppose any close under the 5dma could be bought. Also, that high-volume high will get retested eventually. Daily sticks:

AMD doesn't give a lot of big pull backs. This might be a decent entry point for those waiting to get in/get back in, add on. I'm guessing it will test the highs again soon. With a possible Intel deal looming, this could make the next push forward. No longer sitting at the upper BB, and just getting out of overbought levels.
When AMD is quiet for a few days is when I would be holding on to every share and buying as much as I can, this is about to explode !
