I put up 2 charts last few days. This stock is headed much higher. Don’t listen to the loser "I think we're headed for the $50's crowd"
You could at least copy and paste StockTwits comments that don't make you look like a liar on here to people who aren't aware you're copy pasting. No charts from you.
Zack whose success rate is 1.12% has downgrade this share to sell, that is why it is down. Fyi: zack was bullish when it's 90. I honestly hate this stock, because this one is only down in my portfolio, but still at this point there is more upside then downside
I'm very long on GILD and agree it is way undervalued. Future EPS puts its value well into $100+ range. Financials are good, sentiment is bad. GILD is currently one of my top 3 picks at wayundervalued.com Holding GILD and being patient could really pay off in the long term. Enjoy the dividend in the meantime. When sentiment changes, there's lots of upside here..
Looks like maybe breaking the downward trend? They have cash on hand, value play. What do you guys think?
Gilead stock looks slightly undervalued at this point because the market is undervaluing Gilead’s HIV and oncology portfolios. The company also shows significant potential in the immunology/NASH area. Biktarvy revenues were only $35 million this past quarter. However, this could easily become Gilead’s largest HIV product, hitting a $5 billion mark.
Gilead's tenofovir molecule formed the heart of the firm's $14 billion HIV franchise. Combo pills offer patients convenience and affordability, as they are less likely to miss doses and develop drug resistance, and they only need to make one copayment.
I haven't followed this stock nearly close enough, but with Remdesivir or whatever it's called, this pullback looks like a decent opportunity to hop in. Might take a chance around $76ish (current 50MA). I'll have to pay closer attention to Covid treatment/vaccine talk though if I hop in to this one.
Gilead is a good company and the stock pays a dividend. Don't look for massive growth. It's not going over $100 anytime soon.
Gilead is already making money with HIV treatments. It looks like they lowballed Remdesivir pricing on purpose. $90 is on the horizon for long term investments. Conservatively in 5 years. By then, you should also dividend increases. You never know what the future holds. If a vaccine materializes, look for joint marketing and distribution, a merger, or a spin-off into a corona virus focused company. 1stop shopping for hospitals. 1vendor with all corona related supplies.
That argument from the WSJ about Remdesivir, didn't work for Sovaldi. People had the option of paying $1000/pill for Sovaldi (I think it was 49 pills in 49 days), or not. Of course if you didn't take Sovaldi you risked losing a limb due to liver disease or developing liver cancer, and dying in pain. $1000 seems like a small price to pay to avoid those outcomes. But people got incensed anyway. Because, thanks to the Geneva convention for drug prices, Gilead had to provide low-cost pills to 3rd world countries so poor peoples could get the health benefits too. So while people were paying $1000/pill in the US, you could find similar pills for $5 in India.
