Nonsense. I am still in with a 1/5 position and still liking this apparent smart-money accumulation. The stock is just turning over to new sponsorship. Dang, the President of the United States uses Twitter; that's good-enough fundamental research for me.
Nearing oversold levels, and heading back down to $14, which would be a great entry, but I don't think it gets that low. I'll be watching this one closely to try to determine the bottom. All it takes is a few buyout rumors on this one to push it back up again, with not much downside if it doesn't break below $14 IMO. I'd dump it though if it did get below $14 as I wouldn't know where the floor is at that point.
Sometimes it is interesting to remove the daily candles from the picture and just look at the moving averages. Trend is much more visible when the daily clutter is removed. I'm also watching TWTR for a maybe play but I want to see the 10 cross above the 30 day first. That should also move the MACD and Stochastics up and at least flatten the 30 day. I still get nervous when the 30 day is pointing down.
If TWTR could not rally with the Trump bump like the rest of the market, then when downside comes in the broader market, TWTR should fall faster and harder. Something something tides and ships? Do you have a new baby yet???
The last two times TWTR came down into these prices it did so violently on high volumes. This time it's creeping down on relatively low volume. Somebody is buying this "shit" and the way they have been working it, makes me think they are smarter than most of us. I don't think the smart money would be distributing in the low half of the trading range. Nah, I think they are absorbing public sellers in here. If the stock was mostly in the hands of the public I think we'd see much more volatility.
Yeah, I think it's undervalued there, but I don't ask me why, 'cause I wouldn't be able to answer that
Oh craps, now it's almost down to $14. What do you guys think needs to happen for the stock to finally move back up again? I mean, it was $30 last year, right?
As usual a big change in supply and demand, I guess ... In fundamental terms I dont know, I didnt look at company numbers. Technically speaking stock seems doing a bottom pattern. There are two key levels to monitor: actual level, roughfly around 14$ and 20$. A fall bellow 14$ may lead to new lows, a break above 20$ may say trend is shifting. Actual level seems, to me, a pretty good spot to add some shares. Low risk level, you will know quite easily if you were right or wrong. Good luck Claire!
