I can't give you mine because I follow +/- 50 stocks (max 80) unless of course you would like to (mine are divided into lists and get moving about .... I got funny way of doing things!!!! Mt Way ) btw if you haven't got enough to do I got plenty work on my olives ... you are welcome )
giving this thread a bump after almost exactly one year since the last post i wanted to revive this and see if we can do this a bit differently and possibly better than the last go around. i think the way that i had originally set up the members watch list in google sheets wasn't done very "professionally" if you will lol. instead of having everyone's watch list on one worksheet, i was thinking of breaking those down into separate sheets (or tabs i guess?) within the same worksheet...kinda like how i've done up our members stock picking records on the competitions i run here. i think the format of stocks within each members watch list was fine, but i think each watch list should have been placed in their own dedicated sheet if you will...the way it was done up before was just really sloppy and not very appealing. any other ideas you guys might have that could make these more interesting? i know the originally intent behind this thread was to make it easier for @T0rm3nted and myself to lookup members stocks that they were watching and have them placed in the dividend calendars, insider trading tracking, and upcoming earnings threads, tagging members so they see their stocks posted in each respective thread ... however that got a little tedious for us after a while and it didn't really seem like many people were viewing those threads any longer, so it was discontinued. anyway, i still wanted to see if we can use this thread to collect each members stocks, and have them placed into a spreadsheet like google sheets so people can get a visual of what stocks everyone is either invested in, looking at, or are interested in, etc. i really think this thread has the potential to be great, but think it needs a bit better organization in the google sheet maybe. i like to think of this thread as the stomping grounds for members to exchange thoughts & ideas on the stocks that they are in and/or watching. i'm still in the process of brainstorming this one out, but will welcome any ideas from you guys to make this thread more interactive.
okay, so this is still in the process of brainstorming but here is my general idea for this thread. i was thinking of first collecting everyone's stocks (tickers) that they are either currently invested in and/or are watching and then put them up into a google sheet like the last time. however, this time perhaps i could also add a row right beneath each ticker and copy & paste member's rationale that is posted on this thread into the spreadsheet as well. here's an example of what i'm kinda envisioning for this- additionally, i could also add a master sheet on the same worksheet with a list of all the tickers that members got on their watch list so people can get a quick visual of what stocks people are watching w/o having to go into each member's individual spreadsheet. something that looks like this- this obviously still has some work, but just putting out some ideas in here to start. here is my google sheet if you guys wanted to take a closer look at this- what i'm really aiming for here is to make this thread a lot more engaging and interactive if you will. the way that we had this setup before wasn't quite what i was envisioning. i'd like members to post their watch list (tickers) but most importantly (if possible!) also posting some reasoning why you have said tickers on your watch list. is there some interesting chart setup that you're seeing in the stock? maybe an upcoming earnings report? something...not just posting a couple of tickers and being done with it like the last time...but posting some rationale would be great as well! anyway, let me know what you guys think of this idea so far...again this is still a work in progress. i just really think this thread has some good potential to be amazing imo. thx fellas, and i will welcome any feedback/input/ideas/etc. you guys may have!
btw, i probably should also post this in here as well, but everyone's watch list from the past will be wiped clean...we are starting on a clean slate with this. again, you are posting the tickers that you are either currently invested in and/or are watching or have a keen interest in, but are also including RATIONALE for each stock on your watch list as well. fyi--CHARTS are very much welcome and appreciated here! just throwing that out there too. this will get better with time, i promise. this is just to start you guys off for now.
I had nothing to contribute, but I like the ideas 1) rationale 2) all tickers on one sheet, in addition to the sheets for each person.
