Yes I would like to see it go to $20.... with tomorrow being Friday.... I will probably stay around the same or even down some since many don't hold positions over the weekend.... But we will see. But today has been a good day since it has been trading sideways for the most part for about 2 weeks now....
You had me double questioning what day it was for a moment there, but I did confirm that today is indeed Friday (thank god). I think, and hope, that AMD will push into new highs next week. I added some shares a few weeks ago on the dip to 12.50-12.70 area and hope to not touch this one for a year
Yes I think it will be up more next week,,,, LOL been sitting on this on for a long time.... got some of my shares back in the day at around 1.78 and some around 3.81, So I am way up on this... And I think if I wait it will go up much more.... If Next ER is good or even break even, it might go to $20...
Yep.. NVIDA get a downgrade CUZ...AMD Is stealing market share.. And AMD goes down... Lol that the market for yea.......
Maybe, people got scared of this: http://investorplace.com/2017/04/advanced-micro-devices-inc-amd-stock-is-risk-reward/#.WOPwljvytEY Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) Stock Is More Risk Than Reward Now Even if its new products enjoy some success, AMD stock looks fully valued and has a hard road to significant upside
Down a ton on a Sell rating from Goldman Sachs. Clearly someone in Goldman wants to get in and is driving the price down. Stock manipulation at it's finest! Looks like their lucky day, because it worked. Sitting at a support level right now.
I got hit hard with Nvidia a few days ago. Dodged this bullet as I though amd might also get a downgrade and sold my position. Will butt back in if this drop continues tomorrow.

AMD: Stay the Course By Tiernan Ray http://blogs.barrons.com/techtraderdaily/2017/04/06/amd-stay-the-course/
AMD's in an interesting position imo. The truth is if you look at the Ryzen series video cards and compare them to Nvidia 10 series (which were released over half a year earlier). The Ryzen barely beats the 1080 gtx. Why is this bad? Well again Nvidia came out with the 10 series almost half a year ago, and most of my PC hardware buddies have been telling me time and again the 1080gt is the most overpriced Nvidia card to come out this decade. It's a mid range card being priced high end, because Nvidia knew they weren't going to have competition. I believe AMD's going to give up the consumer level market of PC GPU hardware and instead aim for the business side. Both Sony and Xbox use AMD parts, and there are features on the Ryzen card that don't benefit gamers at all. I think it's a smart move because the truth is AMD's realized the times they've had a card and cheaper pricing, they've still lost in overall market share to Nvidia. The Nvidia brand is just too strong.
Quite the drop recently! Hope AMD releases some news/rumor to help boost the price back up, because we haven't seen 12.xx in a while.
