It's really too bad the 'Canes haven't been able to put up a decent season. I've been trying badly to get into hockey more this year but admittedly it's hard to get into it when your local is not really playing very well...ah well better luck next season I suppose. If my local is out of it then I'm more or less out of it as well lol.
Whelp the SC playoffs are now officially underway...any predictions on who will end up hoisting the cup. I'll go out on a serious limb here and say the NYR. I'm pretty bad at these though.
I haven't paid any attention to hockey this year so I have no idea. But it's possible for NYR to win it all if their goalie gets hot. Remember the year the Kings won it with Quick. They weren't a very good team, I mean not that they were bad but they were far from a powerhouse. Sad thing is I don't even know who the Rangers goalie is.
dang it ... NYR blew a 3-2 lead with like 20 sec. left in the 3rd period! series now tied 1-1 heading to MSG ... we'll see if they can still pull this one off against the habs
Well, stick a fork in the Blackhawks. Even they can't come back from down 3-0. Guess they get to start golfing earlier than usual.
I think Penguins will take Stanley Cup, they look much stronger then other teams. Chatting with my friends I predicted Penguins vs Ducks in a final game a week ago.
Sens looking to be some trouble for the NYR if they are going to get to the SCF. Still a long ways to go though.
The one thing I know about the NHL playoffs is I'm sick of this commercial. They should have made another one for variety. And also, it seems more like an ad for the Stanley Cup (which does not need advertisements), because they don't even mention the times for the games. Not that the games are hard to find (is it late afternoon/evening? Then it's on) lol. But I'm kinda sick of the Stanley Cup, so I'm not even thinking of watching the games.
Really don't want the Penguins to win Then there's an argument in which is the better dynasty in the cap era.
As much as I do not like Pens I have to admit that they have a very good and strong team. They were losing players almost in each game and still advanced in the final.
not really watching much of this series ... but just checking up now i see the pens took care of business on home ice up 2-0 heading to nashville ... kind of hoping the preds can do the same and bring the series back to pittsburgh at 2-2 ... if this goes 6 games i'll def. tune in for that and hopefully a game 7 which if there is one which would be great
man i'm kind of bummed out here ... i missed a lot of this series ... and it looks like it's been a pretty decent one up to this point ... let's see if nashville can force a game 7 on sunday night ... my hunch is that they will
Just wanted to quickly bump @Andre's post in here again. His post was from April 18th. And, here was the end result- Great call once again @Andre!
