Vectorvest - what you use for value calc - got it. DCF is minus 6.50 on gurufocus - on simplywallst shows $3.22 value. Different sector than semicon but I like the look of $UCTT and $AQMS But just bought $FSLR crazy risk but just up over 12% from 27th April when I bought them.
I found I only had the patience for long term investment when working with test accounts, set one up 16 /17 months ago bought Tesla @144 and Amazon @ 493 and Alibaba @ 60.5 With real money I have to do swing trading. You might be right long term, good luck to you.
Didn't pull the trigger yet on any shares. I'm expecting this to drop a bit more tomorrow and then hopefully rebound some on Thursday. Look to buy around 9.75-9.8. Thoughts?
A stock does not drop 26.5% (I am including the after hours here) and bounce back straight away unless the drop was manipulated in the first place. The stock was downgraded also. I expect a further drop on Wednesday, then drop and possibly a pullback Thursday - a lot depends on the Market. I am currently seeing more earnings misses than hits or exceeds, that will eventually weigh on sentiment. There are various indicators you can used RSI CCI to see find an entry point. The way I work is I first check the volume against the average, if the volume is down I don't buy / sell as the stock will be like a sail boat with a slow wind going every which way. If you don't know how to do the technical indicators you can go to investing.com look up your stock and check out the Technical tab. I would want to see strong green on the hourly and neutral on the daily before I considered this stock - but this is personal and I do make mistakes or interpret the market wrongly.
Not yet, low-range close, I'll wait for some kind of stopping action. An updated $0.50-box by 1-box-reversal P&F gives target of $8.50~$8.00. Sorry, I could have done that before the ER and posted, but my concern has only been to wait for this event. An awful lot of supply came into the market today so it could muck around here a bit, but if not, it will find its way back to $11 again. There is a buyer for every seller after all, and the sellers were the fearful public, no doubt about that. The buyer then, was the composite man (CM), the aggregate of the big money guys and they do NOT buy to lose. The huge supply of sellers that came into the market gave the CM the opportunity to unwind his massive short position and begin to get long. Now its just a matter of waiting for the cause to get used up which should happen at $8.50~$8.00 or so, wait for some sort of stopping action and perhaps play the automatic (public short covering) rally. Daily: $0.50-box by 1-box-reversal Point & Figure: EDIT: Counting 11 columns back to the BC gives price objective of $8.00
The $0.50-box by 3-box-reversal P&F gives a target of $10. Using a 20-period ATR box size of $0.64 would give a 3-box-reversal target of $8.96. These contradict the potential short-term 1-box-reversal P&F target of $8. I am inclined to go with the shorter term and more conservative target of $8 until proven otherwise and wait for stopping action on the vertical chart.
Very low volume today at 5.96m against average 69.07m Nadaq more or less flat. Looks to me like no one wants to buy or sell at the $10 level. But what will happen if the market has a down day, will this support level be properly tested?
Looks like a bounce is underway but it hadn't built much cause to sustain a rally. The $0.50 x 1 point-and-figure chart shows an upside objective of $11.50 but looking at the vertical chart, I suppose it could get into the gap. Daily Vertical Chart:
It appears I took one for the team on this one. Still got my calls but doubt they payoff. $500. Gamble gone bad, oh well.
AMD chips are lack luster compared to NVID at least to my knowledge most of the PC's and laptops people are buying come with NVID chips which i think contributes to why this stock is plunging. would be good to hold it long-term though

Just so everyone knows the source on that first article is based on some random redditors post on the AMD sub. He changed his naming scheme shortly after posting claiming the board of directors JUST then decided to change the names. Smells like lies and of course wccftech picks up a story with an unreliable source.
In fact wccftech sources techpowerup and techpowerup sources no one. Typical. Honestly surprised it took them this long to write an article on a troll post that popped up early last week.
Quite the run yesterday heading into the analyst meeting yesterday. Anybody able to tune in and know what was said that's pushed this down over 4% AH/PM?
