I think AAOI/LITE will follow AMD/NVDA. I'm guessing AAOI is at the January stage of AMD, which could give it 2 more months to go up.
We are not back to ATH yet but we aren't that far off too, almost feel like the selloff last Wednesday didn't happen
Is It Possible To Turn $100 Into $70 Million? It Is If You Bought Bitcoin 7 Years Ago http://m.benzinga.com/article/9498513?utm_referrer=https://www.google.com/ Seems like bitcoin could have turned some people into millionaires, what a run
vix back with the 10-handle again good call on that @stock1234 ... i believe it was you who mentioned it on last week's thread?
yep i agree with this...especially that we are headed into the "summer doldrums" part of the year. also someone correct me if i am wrong here but it does look like we are kind of in the clear as far as any big newsworthy events are concerned at least for the next couple of months? of course barring some crazy unexpected black swans it looks as if we're headed into a bit of a holding period for now. i'm not very big on news as it is so maybe someone can chime in here and let us know if there are any big news events expected this summer. if not, then choppy markets will probably remain choppy until the next big worry
A few of the old-timer skeptics at work think Trump will resign soon because of the FBI thing going on...
I think we have a U.K. Election next month, it could be market moving. Volume will be lighter during summer, and it could be easier to move the market if some big news hit the market with lower volume. I hope it won't be a boring summer for this market
Dollar remains weak especially against the Euro. I am not really sure if the market prefers strong or weak dollar anymore. Weak dollar probably is good for multinationals but our market could be less attractive to foreign investors
Just heard from CNBC that the SPX has moved 1% or more in only 4 sessions this year, pretty amazing considering that we are in May already
UK's Manchester police say 'confirmed fatalities' after 'reports' of an explosion at Manchester stadium http://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/22/seri...ium-during-concert-where-loud-bang-heard.html

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/22/us-2...hite-house-slashes-the-social-safety-net.html White House 2018 budget proposal is out, and it slashes the social safety net The budget would cut $1.7 trillion in spending over 10 years. Medicaid, student loans and food stamps would see big reductions. EPA, State Department and Education Department funds would be slashed. Economists doubt the White House's growth projections.
